While recently in Arizona, I wanted to buy some cactus candy for family and friends but was incredibly busy with work and did not have a car. I was delighted to discover this little shop while waiting at Sky Harbor. It's not large, but it did have a great selection.I also happily noticed that their prices for boxes of cactus candy beat Amazon as well as a couple other Arizona-centric gift shops at the airport. In addition to the traditional cactus candy, they also had chocolate, cactus taffy, cactus licorice, and cactus lemonade mix. I would absolutely recommend stopping here, especially if you want to treat yourself or others to something yummy that is decidedly unique to Arizona!

Love to see state/region specific shops when in airports; whether that is my home state or another that I'm traveling too. I can pick up some cactus candy to share with others across the country or with family in England. They love when I gift them items like this on my way, and say they are a delicious way to taste a piece of Arizona. Super quick and friendly service with a well laid out stand. Very easy to shop and love the way the store looks. Very Southwest and adds to the ambiance!

While racing through Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport Terminal 4, I noticed this wall store selling Cactus Candy. Cactus Candy products are actually confectioneries made from prickly pear juice that I figured would make for an additional fun souvenir to share with our nephew and his fiancée. Okay, so, my husband busted me for also having a sweet tooth with this stop.Though this was not the first time that I've tasted prickly pear fruit flavor (fruit from the paddle cactus) which to my tastes like a bit like bubble-gum. I was reminded about this desert treat last November when fellow Phoenix Yelpers Joyce and Mike shared a box of the luscious gelées and kept them in mind. So, luckily, I came across this wall store.Kudos to the saleswoman who was friendly and understanding of my hastiness since I told her that I was on my way to my connecting flight. I didn't want to keep asking the cost of the items (while in the back of my mind I was thinking of the space or diminishing space in my carry-on) but decided on a couple of boxes of prickly pear gelées ($10) and a couple of bags of licorice whips ($4).

The candy is all right. A lot of fancy packaging and a similar price tag. I think you can use this store as a last minute gift for people or if you really want to eat some expensive candy or chocolate. Well I do have to say their selection is at least a good variety. Convenient and here for you if you need it.
