It was at a very nice park in Avondale and the sun was just beginning to set and last night there was a nice breeze. Me and my wife ordered the carne asada taco plate which is 3 tacos rice and beans. And they offer corn or flour tortillas but also hand made to order corn tortillas that will melt in your mouth. The carne was cooked and spiced to perfection and their salsa's are to die for!"

Arrived within 15 minutes.The place was busy, it looked packed. The staff was friendly and helpful. My order was waiting for me when I arrived. I was in and out in minutes. Though the food smelled really good, we exercised some patience and waited until we got home to open it.I was impressed by their ramen packaging. It came in a big bowl with two compartments: one for the broth and one for the veggies and protein. The broth was still warm even after a 20-minute drive. We immediately devoured its contents. My veggie ramen was tasty and satisfying. The portion was pretty generous, too. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. We were both very pleased with our choices!"

"Love JINYA! It was a great place for myself my toddler and my Vegan friend. Let's start with the Vegan menu, as a non Vegan it was Fire!!! That was also the word used by my friend. You can't go wrong with their Ramen or Impossible Tacos. We didn't try the other items but these two were huge wins. Loved the non vegan menu as well, Ramen, crispy chicken was amazing! The service and staff were great and attentive. They have an outside patio so if the sun isn't too hot it's a great place to dine."

"My friend who loves ramen decided we needed to try this place. After eating there for the first time, I would say it is pretty average as far as ramen places go. The service was a little...well let's just say I think he was new to serving. He had to be reminded to get things a few times. And he was the only one serving, although there were only a half dozen tables filled. He tried hard. I'll give him that.We all got ramen, so I don't know how their poke is. The ramen was average. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and it was at a spice level of 1 (where's the heat!) on my spice scale. Very disappointing. It was good traditional ramen, but nothing special. We probably won't come back here because there are a few other ramen places that are better. Good food. Just not great."

In my experience, the more of those boxes you can check, the better the food.This place seems more focused on sweets and treats, which I had none, so I can't review around that. I was here for ramen and birria tacos. First, the ramen was fantastic. You get a side of limes, onions, cilantro, salsa and cabbage. It's a serving big enough to share and I enjoyed it very much. Of course, I used it to dip my birria tacos!The birria tacos were good, not great. However, my personal preference are birria tacos oozing with queso, cooked longer with more browning and crispiness, and with the tortillas dipped in the birria consommé before griddling. You can see by my photos these aren't like that, but they are good, traditional birria tacos and I'm not going to deduct them because of a personal preference.And though it would be an easy target, I'm not going to deduct them for location, storefront architecture, interior design or handicapped accessibility. Frankly, more people need to recognize "places like this" wouldn't likely exist if they had to follow those standards. "I was here around 6:30PM. You walk in, seat yourself, and then scan for the menu at your table, and then self-order on your phone. You can pay on your phone when you finish- or even when you are ordering. We were greeted and given water once we sat down. Pretty casual atmosphere with low and high top tables. They do have a waitlist available on Yelp. And they are open until 9:30PM.We ordered the Samurai Ramen with shrimp tempura and an extra egg and the Miso King Ramen with chicken casu, crispy tofu and bok choi. Our food arrived within 10 minutes and it was nice and hot. Both dishes looked delicious and they were. Fantastic broth in both ramens with large, fresh shrimp. The eggs were done perfectly. We did not order drinks but they do offer some alcoholic beverages.For two Ramen soups with extras, tax and tip, it was $53.81. The Ramen itself was around $16.00, a little high for ramen, but it is a restaurant on Mill. And once they charge for extras- bok choi is $1.20, shrimp tempura is $4.50, an extra egg is $1.20, it does add up. That being said, I would go again- just not everyday."

A good host would say, not sure but it's a big hit here... or something. I guess I was just expecting much. Honestly, it's just okay to me. It's a hole in the wall type of location. They offer a happy hour menu all day Monday thru Thursdays and 11:30-4 pm on Fridays. Hubs always orders spicy tuna roll $5.95, and I ordered a Halloween roll $7.95 ( shrimp salad, cucumber, masago and avocado) it was light and tasty especially with the sauce that was on the side. This location is very small, but they do have parking behind the restaurant and have a partner restaurant next-door for sushi and drinks as well. After we were seated, our server was amazing and the manager kept checking on our table as well and thanking us for the patience while we were waiting for our table of seven. We start order with chicken Ramen with scrambled egg instead of a soft egg to pork Ramen, the fried rice dish, the calamari fries and a catfish dish as well. All of our food had large portions very filling and delicious. Only complaint is the fried rice lack seasoning and needed more flavor. Also, the sodas come in cans with the glass at the table with ice so no free refills, unfortunately. We will definitely be back again and Her they have certain specials throughout the week which we would love to enjoy ."

We asked our waitress and she had explained that it was only about a week that they had started the bbq. My husband and I were equally happy because we had thought it was a little warm out for ramen. The ramen came out in about 15 minutes.The broth, which makes or breaks a ramen, was fairly gentle and not particularly deep, but pleasant -- quite umami, moderately salty, slightly sweet. The tofu was deep fried and rather sweet, which was tasty, but I don't think goes that well in a ramen. The other toppings were solid. The noodles seemed very al dente and not particularly well-suited to a ramen.Service was very friendly and its nice environment. Don't expect anything close to authentic ramen, but it's not a bad spot."

"To start off, the broth is home made. Most other hot pot places use a premade pork bone broth mix and it's just sodium central. The meats are all high quality, grass fed even being an option. To be honest, once meats go into the broth, I can't tell which is what depending on how long I let some sit in etc.. the sauces they use are simple bit effective. I made a great dip combining all of the options. I must say that the Crispy Chicken app was amazing. The staff was great, service was quick. I do love Jin Shabu for the $30 AYCE by the way. But I was pleasantly surprised with how much food we got here and the price came out be around $30/person for the 6 of us. We were all stuffed and we eat a lot."
