"This place has good pizzas and subway sandwiches. Last time we were here, we stopped and grabbed some sandwiches and deli food which was good. Food is pretty cheap here for big sandwiches. I got some chips with them, and we sat inside on a nice warm day to chill off. Pretty nice size place with lots of meats and cheeses and bread to take home and make your own sandwiches too. Nice people and great place. We will be back again."
"Go here for their samosas and kachori. It is just $1 each and tastes so good. It is an Indian store with a restaurant at the back as well. We usually go here for snack items including sweets. Never tried food in their restaurant but prices are so damn reasonably here for everything. I would highly recommend this place. Don't expect a very welcoming greeting from the uncle at the counter but they are nice people. The store is small and very congested, however, they have so many things to be considered."
"A little bit more expensive than other food stores, but good quality. The store is clean and easy to move through as it's not cluttered. The deli and sushi bar is usually what I come here for. Everyone is helpful and friendly."
"Transplanted NY'er here. I've complained for 20 years about not having a good deli in AZ. That changed today! This place took me back to Long Island. The sandwich was perfect. Fresh and they didn't skimp on the meat. Bread was on point. Great selection and you can custom order whatever you want. Staff is extremely Friendly and gracious. We tried to tip them by asking where the tip jar was and they said " you coming in was our tip"! A+++... must try. I'll be a regular!"

A hidden gem!! This store is a little market with everything from wine, sauces, pasta, breads, desserts, and more. The deli has a variety of sandwiches and sides and they are absolutely delicious! The store itself is so cute and feels very authentic and the owners are so kind. The food from the deli is a great deal, and was made fresh with just a short wait. The large sandwiches are huge and can easily be split between two people or one half saved for leftovers. I am absolutely obsessed with Tony's and hope everyone in the valley gets a chance to stop by at least once!

I came here for jumbo samosas and left with desserts too. The store is quaint and the grocery has just enough of what you need. I didn't try the restaurant but maybe next time. I got four random desserts that looked good and loved two and the others were harder and sweeter than I thought they'd be. I'd definitely recommend them for desserts and jumbo samosas. They also had some fresh samosas for take out for $1. I would have loved to try them if I hadn't just eaten.

I love AJ's and this is my local one, been coming for years and years. I do miss the discount sections since they moved/hid/got rid of them because I used to find such cool stuff that way. They do carry a lot of items that are sometimes harder to find as well as a very good selection of locally produced items, which I always like.

They have good. Indian snacks item. Other day tried Kachori chaat and aloo sabji and puri, it was awesome. The tea was okay not that great. It is also a grocery store so if you need some Indian masala this can't go wrong! Shop as your snack gets ready

Found everything in my list and shelves appeared pretty well stocked. So no issues there. Even got a few of my items on discount with the digital coupons so that's always a win!! Got in line with a real cashier and not forced to go through the self checkout which I avoid at all costs. I would rather wait a couple extra minutes for a cashier than go through self check out. Just sayin.....

Don't go to this flower shop area because the newer employee(Grace) who works here, was less than nice!!!Her(GRACE) behavior was uncalled for as she is very unprofessional and rude!!! I stopped here to inquire when the eucalyptus plants will be out (as I purchase them from here each year "faithfully" and usually around this time of year). This mean human was the worst! She loudly stated that, they don't carry them and that she doesn't order them because she's extremely allergic and she repeated herself... sarcastically that, " there's no way you have ever purchased them from this location because I would've never ordered them" GIRLLLL STAWP ...it was only a question, no need to roll your eyes and get all agitated over a simple question!!! I may be off of my rockers but, I'm not delusional to where I spend my money. I had to walk away rather then to entertain her foolery and her hostile attitude ! "Grace" was less than saving Grace and she needs an attitude adjustment. Who on God's crazy Earth, would work in a flower shop... if they're extremely allergic to flowers of any sort, is beyond me! Grace should be relocated to produce since, she is not a human interacting species. I'll call management to inquire when my eucalyptus will be in, and have them to order them Ms allergic!

Mexican food of the Gods,Let me start by saying that from all the places I been in the valley, and tried multiple traditional dishes made in Mexico, this is the place to eat.Since I moved from California, this is one of my favorite places to eat food from back home (Guadalajara). They have so many options, with mouth watering flavor. Tacos? You name it, asada, chorizo, cabeza, buche, tripas, pastor and so on....My favorite choices from the menu are Carne en su Jugo (just like home) and Burrito of Asada/Tripas and beans (American/Mexican dish).I would advice you to spice it up and try all the menu, very good choices. Will keep coming back!Gracias and provecho!!

"An extra star for the prices here.We love visiting here whenever we are in that area. In fast we almost go every time we visit that side of the town. The reason being they have some really good fast and is vert reasonable too, Few seating tables and even the store but we usually get the seat to sit and eat. I would highly recommend this place for the taste. Don't expect ambiance though."
"Safeway has the best cakes. You wouldn't expect them to be so good here but they are. We ordered a "Marble" cake and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect blend of sweet and cakey. 10/10 would recommend."
"Safeway is our usual grocery store. They always have great produce and (almost) everything we need. The pharmacists are also great! This particular review is for Saturday, 1/14/23. I came in around 9:30 to pick up a cake I had ordered for my mom's birthday - she is visiting from out of state. There were hardly any patrons in the store, but there were lots of employees stocking. Almost all of them greeted me and said hello! Everyone was so friendly!! The cake was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I originally planned on getting a regular cake, but when I saw the chocolate peanut butter one, I knew it would be perfect for my mom. The only reason I am giving four stars is because of the consistently not-friendly or attentive bakery employees. I stood there for a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me with so much as a glance. There were three employees up there. This happened when I placed my order as well. Someone was picking up a cake, so I got in line behind them, then when they left, the employee helping them turned around and didn't acknowledge there was someone else standing there."
"A small indoor shopping district that also houses a cell phone shop, a bookstore, and a clothing shop. We sat down at the indoor restaurant and ordered carnitas which were pretty flavorful and sat down at one of the benches in the wide open area for seating. There is a big screen TV which everyone seemed to have been watching intently. We watched a couple of kids from the hair salon a few steps away wrestle over a ball. For some reason, in the back it also doubles as a daycare for children? What I did find refreshing was the horchata and snow cone that I ordered. On the side of the restaurant there is an ice cream stand that serves fruit juices and snow cones of all flavors. Anyone that sells snow cones is okay in my book. There was also some small clothing stores inside but nothing that I would really go out of my way to return to again. It was strange because everything was so small inside."
