"Fantastic service, cool vibe and decent Taco Tuesday special. At 4pm on a Tuesday it was pretty quiet inside and out, with a few after work drinkers at the bar. Inside has fun decor with motorcycle taxidermy , trust me it's worth seeing. I selected the shredded beef tacos on corn tortillas with no beans, only rice as the side. The beef was tender, not stringy and had a nice flavor. Spicy but not deadly. Rice was fine, unremarkable. Tried the frozen margarita since it's hot out. It was strong and limey, but $10. This place, unfortunately, has no happy hour specials. I liked the shady East facing patio with booths. Our server came back so frequently to check on us it was almost comical. Very efficient and effective young man. I look forward to coming back during the evening to hang out at the bar for some cocktails!"

"Absolutely love this place!!!It has taken me forever to finally visit the bar. and they did not disappoint. The number one thing I absolutely LOVE about the bar, they serve fresh cut fries. The wings were amazing, I had them with the John Blaze honey hot and the sauce was delicious!!! The drink I ordered, Sexican, so good.To top all that off, they played throwback 90s rap and r&b, which took me down memory lane. I will be back again and again and again!!!Rate 10/10"

"Came in for 3 nights, as my brother lives down that street and we just happened to check it out. They offer great priced drinks. When drinking draft, ask for the pitcher, as it's a lot lower than buying by the glass. Bartender, Terry, is awesome and so sweet. She made me feel so welcomed, and at the end of the weekend, it was like I was family.I recommend this place, especially if you want to sing some karaoke, or converse with the locals. They there are definitely some interesting locals."

"Here's the deal, if you like a good dive bar THIS IS IT. It's nothing fancy and that is the charm. Strong drinks, good prices, and friendly bartenders. And they open at 6am everyday which makes it perfect for travelers experiencing a crazy long layover at the airport. They serve a little bit of food if you're hungry, have a couple of pool tables, and plenty of seating. It's the kind of place where everyone looks to the front door every time it opens to see who is walking in. Look, sometimes you just a good bar where you can let your hair down and escape from the rat race. Who needs all of the hullabaloo? As far as neighborhood watering holes go, Wanderin checks all the boxes. Special shout out to bartender Rae who was super kind and kept the customers smiling and laughing during my visit."

"It's a spot I've gone to a handful or times and I like it! A step up from a nice hole in the wall bar but a lot more comfortable than one of those stuck up bars! The food I've tried was really good. (Wings, Fish Tacos, Burgers & Fries but there's much more) Friendly staff! When ASU is in session the night crowd changes pretty fast but it's always been a friendly atmosphere. "I appreciate the fact that it's a local spot. I've gone in numerous times over the last 20 years... Sure, I can hang, have a few and meet some folks. Admittedly, it's not a place I'd pick to grab one. Not my choice of dives. They've got a joke box, decent patio and I believe they may even have a pool table? Just not my vibe. Attentive staff, a few tvs... when I was here the other night, I was the only one wearing any color.... I guess what I'm saying is it's a darker, lower key vibe than I feel comfortable in. That's a me thing. Usually the music choice on the box is one I won't go for either. They've gotta be doing something right to have been around for as long as they have which is why I'm giving them a reasonable rating but it's not in line with my divey spots."

"I've driven by this well-hidden bar countless times without investigating it. It is located in a shopping center (I tend to steer away from the word "strip mall") on the northeast corner of North Alma School Road and West Elliot Road next to a liquor store and a salon. There is no way to tell from the one-door entrance what mysteries lie within.Basically, it's a sports bar with a central oval-shaped bar, with a decent number of flat screen televisions surrounding it. A separate room houses four pool tables and darts. Surprisingly spacious and appropriately divey, this place had a smattering of afternoon clients including one or two loud drunks engaged in what appeared to be a friendly back-and-forth about sports and personal hygiene.The thing I liked best was that the place has two pinball machines, including one featuring The Family Guy. With no windows to let the outside world in, I may "dive" in here during another visit to kill time and meet the vocal local yokels."

"Absolutely loved my experience at Coach House! We'd just come from another spot in Scottsdale that was very pricey, so it was nice to be able to get some tasty refreshing drinks without breaking the bank. Our bartender (I think Drew was his name??) was super friendly with our group and gave us some great recommendations for quality food in the area to try before we left to go back to the East Coast. The vibe is immaculate -- Christmas lights from floor to ceiling? Yes please, sign me right up. The experience was 10/10 and if I ever find myself back in Scottsdale, Coach House will definitely be on my list of places to visit again!"

"We stumbled upon this bar one Saturday while out running errands .. the kind of place that does not judge you for having jack Daniels and Diet Coke before noon .. the regulars don't care that you've stopped in.. the pop corn is free and the vibe is easy goingThe bartender told us the wings and fish & chips were good so we returned on a Friday for happy hour and fridays special Fish & chips.. Lindsey was our bartender.. she kept our drinks full and Bill was the chef .. he was funny and entertaining.. the food was hot and the fish was fried right .. the wings smelled amazing (Marty sitting next to us ordered them and when he was concerned about the heat .. Bill brought him a baby spoon so he could try it) and yes we made fun of Marty as a group We will definitely be back to try the wings .. and listen to Casey Brooks from 5-8.. cherry bombs are $1.. the green tea with Jamison, peach snapps & lemonade is delicious This is a dive bar .. it might be Smokey and dark inside and rough around the edges but they are welcoming of outsiders .. thanks for the cold drinks, good food and laughs AND Bill see you next time.."

We went to this bar on a Saturday night around 10:30pm and it was very busy. Majority of the people there were 30-50 years old. They have karaoke which was fun to watch for a few songs, but it felt like the type of place you'd see in "The Office"... a place where you'd go out for drinks with coworkers if there's nothing else to do. It does seem pretty fun for some! Just not the vibe for young people."

"We had a really fun time at groggy's with our friends. Decided to stop for drinks after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. They were having an Xmas party of some sort so there were lots of people dressed in festive clothing. The drinks were good and cheap and we were entertained by some folks arguing and almost fighting over a jacket. Lol it never escalated to throwing punches but boy were they upset. I don't think this is an issue for this establishment seems like all locals and everyone was really nice."

The bar staff is amazing, especially Dan the bartender who is so super friendly! And don't get me started on the food! All the tacos are delicious, my friend loves the cheesy mac & cheese balls, i've had the pulled pork sandwich, and that is super delicious.. so barbecuyy and yummy! Menu prices are great and very affordable. Today I'm excited to have the fry bread which is described as crispy, Golden, and topped with honey, cinnamon and powdered sugar. What heaven am I in?? I sooo love it here!"

"We've been here a couple times & the nice thing is there are people of a variety of ages (not just snowbirds) although during events like Bingo it's pretty packed. They have karaoke but the bar was pretty empty when we went in. The bartender is very friendly, remembers your name & face, and is attentive. The downfall is that it can get kind of smokey since it's one of the few places that allow smoking inside. Overall it's just a standard bar."

"The divest of dive bars that if you are a local, make you proud that this is your local spot. We had the pleasure of hanging out here one evening with our friends who are super regulars. Cheap drinks, other bar patrons are awesome to socialize with, Owner is cool as hell. There was a DJ on our visit so the music was blasting, folks were dancing, good times all around. Two pool tables, and old arcade games for entertainment, back outside patio for chilling. A true dive bar gem."

"This is a Casa Grande local hangout. A tiny little hole in the wall type of place that we all treasure. It opens up to an awesome back patio with a volleyball court sand pit. Picnic/pub table style seating and sometimes a live band. Drinks are plentiful, service is good, but let me tell you about why I really recommend this place... Friday and Saturday night steaks! They are among the best I've had. They are back there BBQing like you're in their back yard. I had my birthday dinner here once, my friends thought I was nuts... until they tasted the steaks. They have rotating lunch specials too. The owner is also so active in supporting the community."
