Amanda C. "Small but cute claw arcade great for a quick date activity - you could spend much longer if you don't mind spending more money haha.Tons of families with kids around opening time on Saturday. I like how plushies are actually winnable here. I won 1 after spending $20 which was exciting but then disappointing after seeing some kids with tons of plushies lol. Some kids are so good at it!Overall would definitely return - staff is super nice and helpful if you gave questions. Only wishes would be to have some machines with larger items - you can only redeem those via trading in smaller plushies as well as some ventilation as it was a bit stuffy with so many families."

Natasha H. "This place is awesome! I've always wanted to try VR, and this place was open late on a Friday night so we had date night here and you get to play all the simulations/ games for an hour and it was about ~$25 or so per person. It's open until 11pm on Fridays and wasn't too busy when we went. The owners are super friendly, and help assist in getting you into the simulations safely, and they also have lockers with a key for your belongings. They have many different types of games and it was such a unique experience!"

Mike D. "When you're ready to rev it up and do some serious racing, then head over to Octane Raceway and sign up for two or three races!A small group of us met there on a Tuesday evening and elected to do two races. After you get your head sleeve, then you wait to get called for your race time. They make sure your helmet is on right and then assign you a go-kart. Once you go sit in your car, then they unlatch the kart and and you're supposed to watch a video that tells you how to operate the vehicle. I didn't even realize the video was playing until it was half over and they had already talked about how to go in reverse (trust me, it's needed when you spin out going around a tight corner at 40 miles per hour like I did on my first lap). I finally figured it out but lost valuable race time in my effort to be the big winner. I paid close attention to the video on my second race. Do that.Expect to spend your first few laps getting accustomed to the speed and handling of your go-kart. After, then go all out to achieve your fastest lap time. PRO TIP: you get BOGO races during the month of your b-day!Overall rating:*****FIVE STARS*****"

Bowlero Union Hills

★★★☆☆ 3.3 (10)

Mark C. "I would suggest coming in here yourself during non peak hours as this is a rare establishment that charges you +$10 just to reserve online. A 2 hour game is around $125 for one lane and then an additional $6.50 shoe rentals per person. The service is perfunctory and there are 4 types of bowling balls to choose from. You're supposed to have only 6 people per lane, but they thought it would be a good idea to put a party of 12+ people right next to us and they kept standing in our lanes. That was lame. Overall, an average experience."

Joyce W. "Arcade Game Fact: "The iconic game "Space Invaders" caused a coin shortage in Japan when it was released in 1978. Taito's hit incorporated relentless alien invasion gameplay, capturing players' imaginations and causing real-world coin shortages as enthusiasts flocked to arcades, making it an iconic moment in gaming history." ― bitvint.comThe Uncommon is a restaurant, bar, arcade, and entertainment venue in downtown Chandler Arizona. We're talking games, live music, and a cherry limeade cocktail!? Yes! After having some beer and bites at another DT Chandler establishment, we popped in for some fun and games. While we didn't order any food, although the menu looks promising, we did order some drinks to sip on while perusing the selection of games. I chose a cherry limeade cocktail, which tasted mainly of like grenadine. I was hoping for a more balanced drink, but it was fine. It helped me with my basketball, darts, and skeeball game. I even won a tiny rubber duck! It's a great place to go if you're into playing arcade games. It's not the biggest selection but you'll still have fun!"

Rosa W. "Really not bad. Its a small, quaint little theme park. We visited on a spring-break trip to Phoenix in the beginning of april. Its small, not too crowded, and has lots of shade. Perfect for kids and not overwhelming at all. Maybe a little pricey, but they have a lot of bundle deals including things like minigolf, and an arcade. Also, they don't charge for park entry if you aren't riding rides. I love that. The arcade was surprisingly super cool, well maintained, and has lots of games.Perfect place to kill a few hours with kids."

Sabrina K. "There is so much truth to a lot of the bad reviews! It's hot as hades in here. The DJ's picks are TERRIBLE. I think the wrist guards are a ridiculous policy considering we have to sign a waiver to enter. I would be more concerned with making people wear helmets than I would wrist guards. A head injury can kill someone. Haven't heard of a normal healthy person dying from a broken wrist but maybe that's just me. It's not a deal breaker for me or anything but seems unnecessary. They claim to have sanitized them but they stink so I don't know how good of a job they do. Staff was friendly and the prices reasonable. I would come back if I were invited but wouldn't go out of my way to come here"

Jon H. "I don't get out here often enough, but I love this place so much. Riddled with pinball and lovingly cared for 80's + 90's arcade games, this is a dream come true for any classic arcade enthusiast. I've been to starfighters a good number of times, and just love it here, hands down, best you'll find in the entire valley of the sun. Every nook and cranny of this warehouse arcade is filled with something exciting to play and if your game is pinball, there are soo many of those here for your enjoyment. While I didn't go and count them all, I'd guess there are somewhere in the 50+ range of working pinball machines that live their lives here, just waiting for you to come and enjoy them. The best thing about this place is its extremely reasonable entry price. You pay $11 per person, and play as long as you'd like during the business hours or a monthly pass will set you back about $35; what a steal. Once you're through the doors every game is set to free play and won't cost you another quarter. With games like pinball, pack man, tron, dig dug, centipede, star wars, marble madness and many more, if you're looking for that nostalgic arcade experience for yourself or want to introduce your kids to some of your own favorites, you MUST stop in for hours of fun!"

From 1942 to Star Wars and an entire wall of pinball machines! Look up and you'll find a couple of old boob tubes playing some retro classics in the background. Overall, a really fun place to stop on your Main Street adventures in downtown Mesa. See you there!Things to know before you:1. No Quarters please! All games and pinball machines use tokens! ATM and token machine available onsite!2. Draft beers and a fridge with a select set of canned brews as well, including White Claw!3. No food/no patio - buuuut you can order from a few of the many delicious restaurants nearby, (walking distance) including Worth Takeaway, Gus's World Famous Chicken, and Tacos Chiwas to name a few...4. Rachel M. "I generally have a rule that I DO NOT eat pizza outside of the pizza belt (Northeast area) and I especially scoff at those outside of the pizza belt who say they have "NY style pizza." But I have to say, the Night Owl pizza was almost there. At least it was decently respectable for being in Arizona. Apart from the pizza, this was just a really cool and comfortable place to hang out, with both indoor space and a large patio with tables and comfortable chairs and ample shade to enjoy a few slices and wash them down with a cold beer. Inside, they also have some retro pinball machines and a wall of old skateboards, giving it a fun and casual west coast vibe. Obviously, if you want real NY pizza, go to NY. But if you can't get there, this will do."

In fact, my grandkids (6 of the from 3-9) love the pizza, Mac & cheese, fountain drinks/ lemonade + the ice cream, cookies and donuts - they don't know any better. You're going because your kids and grandkids are gonna love it - the rides, the arcade games, bowling, laser tag & the all you can eat plus it's indoors (aka, air conditioned) and safe for the kids to run free and have a blast. We've taken our grandkids to jump Parks, indoor gyms, trampolines Parks, but they LOVE going to Jakes and if that means I choke down a slice of cardboard pizza or eat from their salad bar (which isn't that bad), then thats what I'll do. It can be kinda expensive, but if you have the Get Out Pass and upgrade when you get there, the your kids/grandkids will have a full day of fun and snack all day from the buffet."
