Chicken fried steak. Full stop. Chicken fried steak. Absolutely fantastic! Always come here when I'm m fishing or hunting in the area. Exactly what I need at the end of the day. It's perfect.

Location; great little spot off hwy 188, we were on our way back into town and found this little spot and stopped off for breakfast. Food; Yummy traditional plate with egg, bacon, potatoes and toast. Everything was fresh and cooked to order. Service; Super friendly staff, never had an empty cup of coffee.

I stumbled in here overly hungry on a Friday only to find out it was Fish Fry Friday. Score! The cod was properly coated and fried and the hushpuppies had a little jalapeno kick. The fries were piping hot and the coleslaw was very nicely balance. Fresh rolls are served on the table with butter and meals can be topped off with a variety of fresh pies. We choose the peach! Meals are about 12.50-14.00 and pie is about 4.00. I love little dives like this in the middle of nowhere and this place is sure to satisfy your cravings. If you are too full from your meal, take the pie home or back to camp, it's worth it! Say hi to Butchers Hookers, they love their fishing.

Amazing food, super friendly and hospitable wait staff. I love coming here and seeing their daily specials posted right when you enter. I haven't tried anything on the menu that I didn't like.

We invaded this restaurant 20 of us at onceThe awesome worker's weee up to the challenge .The food was great and service top notch.Will definitely go back on a day trip to eat here.

Stopped in on my way to Apache lake for work. Was greeted by the super friendly server. Got the Chicken Fried steak, in was one of the best ones I have had. Super fast for the food to come out. Definitely will be back.

Ate here several times while staying at the adjacent RV park. We both tried the Fish Basket, four massive half-bricks of cod, fries, and slaw, done just right (I had to box one home, something I never do). The chicken-fried steak was a hamburg patty, with instant potatoes (not our favorite) and some tasty cowboy caviar (bean/veggie mix). Even though my ideal Reuben is corned beef, their pastrami version was taste perfection. We plan on sampling their chorizo burrito before pulling out. Friday night service was hectic, and overwhelmed the three servers on staff, our only negative experience.

We have been going there for lunch or breakfast about every other week. Today is the last day. The food was fine service was fine. Prices have gone out of control. $24 for one sandwich amd 2 side salads that consisted of 2 cherry tomatoes 2 slices of cucumber. Lettuce a little cheese. and water to drink. Is ridiculous. Normally @15. So this is the end of going back to butcher hook. I am sad to say, I have gone to much higher class establishments and never paid this. The waitress said they have raised the prices and the manager said that is the way it is. So ok then they don't need my business

Delicious food. I ate the chicken fried steak or chicken. I can't recall, but it was so delicious! One of the best I've ever eaten. Mashed potatoes and gravy was flavorful. My boys ate from their children's menus (chicken tenders) and they loved them. I had a bite of their chicken tenders and the chicken was tender. I had my in-laws visiting from France and they were impressed with the food. The young lady who was the server was so sweet and fun (we came on a Saturday evening). We live in Carefree, but the next time we are in the area, we plan to return.

The food was amazing and the staff were so nice and funny. We know now what it's so busy. I am going back in June. Love this place
