Love this place and the people that own it! They did a really good job of getting this place set up. It is beautiful and the details are spot on. The decorations made the place feel so put together and sets a fun and easygoing experience. I always judge a place by the basics. In my humble opinion, If a great bbq spot doesn't have good sides (potato salad, cornbread, etc) then it's not that great of a place. Sure the BBQ is great but if you can't get the basics right, what else is not going right? All that to say, Mexican food, I judge the rice and beans first and this guys NAILED it. The bean and cheese burrito is insanely good! Yes, it is $9 which is a bit steep for beans and cheese, but it is one of the best bean and cheese burritos I've had in a LONG time.I'd say give them a shot, at the least go check out the place and enjoy the beautiful art that this place is covered in.

I have been waiting for this place to open for what seems like a decade. Of course it hasn't been that long, but it was a long time and the anticipation built. I jumped at the chance to be able to come for a late lunch here.First I have to say that the art in this place is incredible. It's like a restaurant in a gallery! They actually let you go in the kitchen to see the art, a lot of it done by family members - - very talented family members. If you go in the front door make sure you walk all the way through and go out the back door to see the mural on the exterior wall. Amazing! There's a bar where you can order a margarita to go with your burrito, but being a work day we couldn't partake. The menu is quite large with all different kinds of burritos, which can also be made into bowls. We ordered the carne asada burrito and the fajita burrito. I like the carne asada burrito a lot, but the fajita burrito really was my favorite. The veggies in it were cooked to perfection! The burritos are pretty big size. We were each only able to finish half the burrito at lunch and took the rest home. I love that they offer to get your drink to go before you leave, too. This service here is fantastic. Everyone seems so eager to please, and everyone was so nice and friendly and excited to share the story of this and their other restaurants (Mangos and El Sol) and of the artists who have painted the walls. After chatting with owner Pam, we left there feeling like we had made a new friend.I can see us returning over and over and trying all the burritos! FYI they open at 9:30 so it's also a good place to grab breakfast, too.

I popped in here with a few friends to grab a quick bite to eat. There were lots of good hearty menu items to choose from but I just wanted a snack so I opted to go with the shrimp. It was delicious- crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It came with a sweet chipotle dipping sauce. A perfect pairing. The interior had plenty of seating with a bar if you prefer to grab an alcoholic beverage. The staff were friendly and the owner came by to check in on us which was nice to see. I would recommend this spot to grab a bite to eat. Come hungry because the servings looked big!

Heard about this place from a friend who was excited to go but they had limited hours since they're so new. I'll be gentle but I have to say that for the money you spend here, you don't get much. We got 2 burritos: one with cheese & sour cream and the other with sour cream and one drink and our bill was $40. You pay and order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. There's no chips & salsa and your only garnishment is a slice of lime. Taste wasn't bad, but my wife said they used cheddar cheese in the burrito which wasn't what she expected. There wasn't a lot of people when we went, and the place seemed really clean, so that's definitely a plus. Staff was friendly and service was good, but I definitely don't like to tip prior to my meal if something didn't go well. So maybe bring a little cash as well. Not sure we'll be coming back unless something changes though. Like I said, chips & salsa should just be a staple at any Mexican restaurant.

Hard to give more than 3 stars when you pay $15 for a burrito, pay extra for guacamole, (which really should be included on a carne asada burrito) and the burrito is more than 50% refried beans. I ate 1/3 of the burrito before I got to any carne asada. I got to the last few bites before I got to anything that resembled possible guacamole that I added on. Staff was friendly and helpful, food tasted good otherwise, but the value just isn't there. Any restaurant in Arizona that charges for chips and salsa better make up for it in some way, and I just don't see it here.

I normally eat burritos from around the Mesa area 3-5X a week and have nothing but respect for this establishment so here we go. I ordered my food over the phone to go as they were closing, the owner sold me with his enthusiasm and kindness. The service was excellent and the owners and staff are phenomenal, but I've never paid $16.75 for a burrito in my life. I judge a burrito on everything from its size in volume to the slight char on the tortilla it comes in. I had the Carne asada burrito. Quantity wise you get a good sized burrito but it's about 60-70% beans, 15-20% meat, little to no rice, and almost no veggies. The meat was pretty stringy and chewy. The salsa and chips were decent. As someone who's worked in the service industry for 14 years in all areas I'd say I paid $16.75 for a $12 burrito. The owner threw in some chips and salsa because they were closing but I assume normally you pay extra for a side that should come with most Mexican meals at a restaurant in the US. overall a 7.1/10 with the chips and salsa included. With those prices in this economy I dont know if I'll be returning

We had an amazing experience here!! We love going to the owners other restaurant called Mangos & finally got to try their new restaurant Burritoholics! The staff was so friendly- just as they are at Mangos. We ordered the carne asada burritos and got chips and guac to start. The food is killer!! Robust flavors, great salsas, and overall amazing taste. Chips were homemade and perfectly salty. We were also pleasantly surprised that the owner recognized us. They truly care about their customers! Another thing to note is the decor and wall art is amazing. Great family business. Go support!!
