Bourbon & Bones Chophouse | Bar

Went with friends and that's why we enjoyed the experience. The steakhouse is overpriced. This said, service was professional and my steak was done right. The pepper sauce was not great though. My husband's beef carpaccio was bland. Our friends had asked for their steaks to be flambéed. They enjoyed them. Crab mashed potatoes were pretty good, but the side portion was quite small when compared to sides for the table served at other steak houses. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, but I would opt for Capital Grille if making a choice...

Having eaten here once before, I really wanted to like this place, but for a high-end steak house, they fell short in many areas that added up. First off, meeting 8 other guys, they put us next door vs the main restaurant. Being the first to arrive, I went to the main restaurant hostess who said, oh check in next door. She didn't tell me their entrance is not on Scottsdale rd, but on the side. I walked over along with another patron who was also confused how to enter. There's a little swing gate that we found and entered; and then had to walk thru the place to find the host stand. Strike one. Checking in the table was ready but I chose to hit the bar and wait for the guys. Here's something none of us have heard of before. They wouldn't serve me a drink since I didn't have a bar seat, and all of them were taken. The bartender simply walked away. I felt completely disregarded, and stood there like an idiot. Strike 2. Fortunately the guys arrived and we took our seats. The server asked about drinks and I ordered a dirty martini first. But then she walked away. The guys asked where she went. I had no idea and 5 min later she arrived with my drink. One at a time we thought. She then took their orders. Strike 3. After she brought the drinks, she took our food order. One of the guys ordered a beer. It never came. When the food arrived I asked her about his beer. She went to the bar and brought the bottle over. No apology. No acknowledgment of it taking 20 minutes. Strike 4. The rest was ok. My steak was good. Not great. They do not know how to char or sear. The steaks were gray. May have been sous vide. Overall, not a great experience. Did I expect too much?

Very cute atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. The booths are very cozy. There is a large selection of bourbons, whiskeys, etc. as well as a large wine and cocktail list. The cocktails are very good but run at a pretty high price tag. The martini we got was $24. The cocktails are unique and hand crafted, though!! The food is average for the price. We tried the calamari. Filet mignon and the butter cake. None of it wowed us. I recommend going for happy hour or just grabbing a drink at the bar. Definitely make reservations

We decided to check out B&B Cocktail Lounge for AZ Restaurant Week. The restaurant is very sexy - It's a small lounge vibe & has a nicely sized outdoor patio. Since it is restaurant week, the portions are a little smaller than normal entrees. We started off with the calamari fries. They were wonderful! My fiancé kept it light with a caesar salad. For dinner, I had the salmon and he had the chicken. Both were cooked very well! The mashed potatoes were fantastic. However, the STAR OF THE SHOW was the maple butter cake. It was absolutely delicious, I left no crumbs! The drinks were strong and had a beautiful presentation. All the smoked cocktails are delivered to you in a flask where the waitress pours it into it's formal glass. We had a wonderful night!

I had been wanting to come here since I am a major fan of Bourbon & Bones but the experience wasnt that great. First, the spot/venue is perfect. Definitely a vibe. The glittery mimosas were not what the appearance made them to be ( a little too sweet not too tasty). The breakfast tower was great (wish the tiny pancakes were hot though with a syrup dipping option). Overall the I ordered the shrimp po boy definitely was not too good ( bread was hard, the shrimp was too breaded wasnt tasty and the fries were cold. My friends ordered burgers and they were extremely salty. Definitely was a turnoff to return and our waitress was not as attentive as expected. Overall, I still love B&B but the brunch can be spiced up a bit and cooked a bit better. I did love love love the espresso martini! That was yummy!Also the chairs get 5 stars ( I didnt want to get up) lol thank you for comfy chairs

B&B Cocktail Lounge exceeded all expectations for our New Year's Eve celebration. From the fantastic music to the impeccable cocktails and incredible atmosphere, every aspect of our experience was top-notch. Our server Casey played a pivotal role in making the evening memorable, providing excellent service throughout. Despite not being a fan of Bourbon and Bones, the lounge won me over completely, and I can't wait to return soon for another unforgettable night. Thank you for an amazing experience!

This is perfect place for a night-cap no matter the party. The interior decorations and extensive spirits and wine menu elevates the detached bar from the chophouse restaurant in a really nice way. There is limited parking, but valet and ride-share may be better. I didn't order food this time, however upon arriving to the bar, the vibe was low key and chill. The manager was walking around and engaging with guests, and was very serviceable. From when we walked into the door until we left, we were met with excellent service. We were given their luxurious bar bacon that was, again, an elevated experience than most bars I've been to bc this wasn't some average bacon. We ordered two drinks: the Smoke Show (absolutely delicious and very well made) and a cosmo. Shortly after making friends with locals, we were invited to try a smoked old fashion and smoked tequila. I am telling you, this place is fun for drinks with shows, great mixology and a sophisticated vibe. I will have to return to try the chophouse soon! Dress code matters so wear your best!

Was happy to make a last minute Easter brunch reservation. Didn't realize that they closed at 2pm when we made the 1:30pm reservation, until we were seated and they shared that last call was coming up shortly. Even for coming in at that time, the service was outstanding. Our server was so friendly and had great recommendations. Our food was delicious and our kids surprisingly ate every bite. Everyone we came in contact with, from the hostess to the staff who took our drink orders, brought us our food, and most especially our server were all amazing. Would love to come back again with girlfriends or for a date night!

I thought it was overpriced. It certainly wasn't worth 300 bucks for two for dinner and drinks.

Amazing spot to grab a night cap!!!The old fashioned was great, and the espresso martinis were just absolutely phenomenal!!The spritz was okay, it was a lot of watermelon and not in the best way.
