Blue Nugget is a giftshop located in Goldfield Ghost Town. More than jewelry, Blue Nugget is a goldmine if looking for fossils. (All pun intended. ) Pieces range in size from a fingernail to clusters over a foot tall. Most fossils are of smaller organisms. No dinosaurs bones here. Fossils are located in the jewelry counter, and around the store. Blue Nugget also has the largest selection of Native American jewelry in Goldfield Ghost Town. Multiple cases of jewelry, along with pieces hanging on the walls. It is an impressive selection. Employees are ready to not just sell jewelry but also give background information about the artist. Dream catchers found here are not limited to the standard design. Many have unique center patterns. Blue Nugget has their share of touristy items as well. They try to stay on brand with those being Southwest and South American themed products. A good portion of the items for children are touristy. A selection of prickly pear and spicy foods, mugs, shirts, small polished rocks/geodes, books, and mass produced jewelry. The list goes on. Commercially made jewelry is displayed seperate from the handmade pieces. This store is well stocked with merchandise. Items are thoughtfully arranged to maximize the space. Shelving matches the old west building they are housed. Historic look and the plethora of products are decor all on their own. When it comes to prices, for the most part, Blue Nugget has the other stores beat. Some of the best prices for a giftshop. Signs declaring this fact are not wrong. I wasn't expecting a giftshop in the ghost town to have such non tourist items. This giftshop could hold it's own outside of a tourist attraction. Blue Nugget is a great resource for gifts. There is no fee to park or enter the ghost town. Especially if looking for fossils or Native American jewelry, I recommend paying a visit to Blue Nugget.

A classier store located in the Goldfield ghost town. The one thing you should know is that they closely watch all customers both young and old. They will yell at you if you bring food or drinks inside. If you abide by the posted rules on the door you should be okay. It's quality stuff for sale at all price ranges. My find here was a cool Arizona Christmas ornament.

Great shop. The owner is also the artist. He offered a very nice discount with the purchase of multiple pieces. Highly recommend that you stop for Navajo pottery and jewelry.

I discovered this cool shop about 7 years ago by accident. If you love unique and affordable native American jewelry, pottery, fetishes and other crafts, you need to stop here. I have never been disappointed. Cool Arizona and southwest souvenirs as well. This shop is in the Goldfield Ghost Town. Say hello to Shera for me and tell her Amy from Illinois has sent her another customer.

This place is really a surprise. Generally speaking, a store that is part of a tourist attraction suffers from poor quality and a larger than average markup. I am not sure why this one is so different, but it is by far my favorite gift and jewelry shop in Arizona. It has an extraordinary collection of handcrafted silver and turquoise pieces, and some truly amazing fossils that make wonderful home decor pieces for geeky science types like me. Very friendly ladies behind the counter, and just an overall pleasant vibe. BTW, the whole Goldfield attraction is a pleasant spot to spend an afternoon - you get a real sense of history from it, and a feeling for how rough and raw a miner's life at the turn of the last century must have been.

I found the most beautiful bracelets for my bridesmaids here after searching for just the right style/color/material all over the place. The sweet lady working in the store helped me narrow down my choices after I explained what I was looking for and was so knowledgeable regarding the jewelry they carried. She was able to help me find the perfect bracelets that fit my bridesmaids' style (and my budget) perfectly! Customer service here was top notch and I hope to return for more pretty/unique pieces in the near future!

Our family has always loved this store and always came through whenever we visited. I had recently seen This store start to post things on Facebook about people stealing and I would feel bad for them. Until she falsely accused my family of stealing. With no proof and in a busy store with people everywhere she approached and stopped him, accused him and had him empty his pockets. He willingly emptied them pulling even the pocket cloth out, he had nothing because he wasn't stealing. She got upset when I asked her what her name was and if she was the manager. All she did was give me a card with 3 names. I asked again what her name was and she said Shera. I now wonder who really is stealing from her store or if she is just bullying people off of assumption and clearly off appearance and posting them. Very sad experience and I wish this feeling on no one.

I have been into this store several times over the past 20 years. I think she's been there for 30+. This store has something for everyone. But what I love most is the jewelry. I always find stunning pieces at incredible prices. Located in the middle of the old mining town, this store is a perfect place for me to shop while my husband enjoys the view of the mountain from their front porch benches. I appreciate how knowledgeable the owners are on the jewelry and stones. I have learned so much about turquoise just from shopping in the store. Hence the "blue nugget". This is my go to place for gifts. All of the girls in my family have at least one piece of jewelry from this store and most have asked to go visit when in town to buy more. They have an online store as well but the variety in person is extremely impressive. If you're visiting from out of state or even a local, the goldfield town is a great way to spend the day.

I collect Zuni Fetishes. I look for them everywhere, but the best place I've found is the Blue Nugget. I don't live that far away, and never imagined that they would have an ever changing selection of fetishes of all sizes and types, by both new and old Zuni artists. The prices are good, and the staff are very friendly, so what more can you ask?The shop sells all kinds of other things, but I almost never look, since I head right for the fetishdisplay case.
