Went REALLY early for Happy Hour (4PM). We were the only ones there.....Got personalized attention of course. The Drinks were OK, but we had send the Margarita back and it was MUCH better the second try. I ordered a Burger with Onion rings, which were not an upgrade which is unusual, but it came out a 'few' onion rings and the rest waffle fries as they ran out(?). I do NOT eat potato fries. So after I mentioned that, they brought me Sweet Potato fries, which I do like...... They are trying hard and made it right.They are kinda new for dinner and trying hard, and they have live music some nights, so we will give them a try again!!

Such a cute, neighborhood cafe! The food is good consistently. The patio is super comfortable with padding on the chairs and sail shades to keep the sun from getting in your eyes. The patio is both people and dog friendly and even a few mischievous birds who like to try to get sugar packets! It's clean even with the birds trying to outsmart the lovely waitresses! Breakfast is the meal we most often buy. I've had most things on the menu and have always been happy. Today I had a really yummy egg scramble with Brie cheese. This will definitely be a do-over (minus the sauce-it was a little sweet).I highly suggest locals try out this little hidden gem. Plenty of seating and parking. (It's gotten rather busy since the snow birds came back!)

Black mountain cafe is always a good choice for a brunch.My husband, MIL, and I came for brunch after Pat's run for some grub. It was a bit confusing with the outdoor seating because it's first come first serve but no one is really directing and we seemed to go during a rush. I'd recommend still having the hostesses direct people where to sit especially on the weekends during busy times.I ordered the breakfast burrito, my brunch go to. It was delicious and filling. The salsa also added some needed freshness. Next time I'll probably order hashbrowns instead of the home fries but the peppers and onions were good.My husband had pancakes and it was the perfect carbo loading for him.My MIL ordered the avocado toast and hashbrowns with her egg scrambled - it also looked delicious!We'll definitely be back!

I went for a breakfast date with a good friend. I didn't pay much attention to the menu prices because we were chatting. I ordered a bowl of oatmeal with a side of bacon and my friend ordered a sandwich. We each also got a soda (they come in cans which I'll never understand in a restaurant setting). The service was decent, the food was ok - not bad but definitely nothing to write home about. The bill came and they use those mobile kiosks to allow you to pay. I didn't bother to look at the bill because [again] we were chatting. I clicked the 20% tip button and went on my way. My mistake not asking for a receipt. Somehow the food I mentioned above, was nearly $70 with tip. Ugh. Won't go back for that price.

Great food and service here. Laura was our server and she provided excellent service. My dad comes here frequently for breakfast. The staff is kind and attentive for him, which I appreciate. Would expect nothing less from this local business. Our food came out fast, dad's breakfast was prepared fresh and to order. I made a u turn and ordered lunch. A stacked high turkey club with perfectly crisp bacon and sliced avocado. The all star performance was from the crisp and delicious criss cut fries. Don't miss them if you grab a sandwich here. We opted for the cinnamon bun off the "Yummy" menu. This was an impulse grab, and we weren't disappointed. Dripping with frosting and served hot, incredibly soothing for this Yelpers untamed sweet tooth. All in all a great five star experience here. Thanks Laura and Don.

Every place we wanted to go for brunch in cave creek was packed, but luckily we found this spot! We'd been in this area before but never dined here. We were seated right away and they made sure we had room for my son's stroller. The service was excellent. Everyone is super friendly here and attentive! 5 stars for service for sure. I got a cold brew with pumpkin spice, it was a giant glass of cold brew, I def had to bring some home haha. My husband got eggs, bacon, and hash browns, and I got huevos rancheros with potatoes instead of eggs. Our food was ready fast! My husband's portion was on the smaller side but good! Mine was not bad the potatoes were delicious and I liked the salsa but thought it was odd the black beans were served on the side with unmelted shredded cheese. I think it would be better if they got rid of the side of tortillas and instead had more of the crunchy tostada layered with the black beans and cheese melted. But not bad at all! The patio is cute too, perfect for a fall day, but we did sit inside because only seats in the sun were available! Also there's 15% off for the yelp check in but we forgot to use it! We will next time when we come to try the cinnamon roll!

We stopped here for a quick afternoon refresher, which turned into a not so quick one, but I'm not complaining. What a beautiful day and a quaint adorable setting. We just had a couple cold drinks and an order of sweet potato fries but it was awesome. Super nice people and delicious fries.

Food was excellent, they were out of certain items but they still did a great job with our order. Also those biscuits are top tier.

I have dined here twice and it was as good as I remember it to be. The protein bowl with sausage was delish. They don't skimp on refills of their ice teas and coffee. Love the outdoor seating and ambiance. I have heard the cinnamon roll is a must for those who love sweets. It is definitely busy here so be patient with the servers!

Food was mediocre at best. My hashbrowns were chewy, even though they were cooked through well enough to be burnt in some places, and the French toast was lukewarm by the time I got it and the flavor was below par (IHOP has better FT, if that's saying anything). The server never brought more Splenda to the table, even though she was the one who pointed out that we needed more, and I confirmed that we did, in fact, need more. Also, it took over an hour to get our food, and they moved our table to be in the sun. Not a great experience.
