Food has definitely gotten better! The Korean BBQ tenders were soooo good. I loved how hot and fresh it was. The service was quick, and the place was lonely, but clean! Definitely visit and say hey and get some free bird talk stickers.

We came here for dinner after grabbing some boba from next door. Show your Mochi Fresh receipt and get 15% off, woohoo! I ordered the 3 piece tender, Nashville hot, with a side of tater tots and ranch dressing. My boba sistah got mango habanero tenders with waffles and honey mustard. We snagged a table in this cozy spot and our food was brought to us about 5-10 minutes later. Everything looked great! I enjoyed the spicy dry rub tenders and they paired well with the ranch dressing. Juicy, tender chicken that was nicely cooked. The tater tots were plentiful but soft on the inside, more of a mushy texture, so not my favorite. I also tried one of the mango habanero tenders and it was delicious. It had a sauce on it and reminded me of wings. I didn't notice the complete list of sides as I was excited about the tater tots but later I noticed they have jalapeño poppers, might try next time. They have so many tender flavors to choose from and I would love to try more on a future visit. I recommend coming with a friend and ordering different types so that you get some variety. They have free Bird Talk stickers here in the style of famous brands and their logos, I grabbed the DD one and my sistah got the Nintendo one. Creative and unique offering, I like it.I enjoyed the food here and would come back when in the area!

It is not eat in, but delivery or pick up only.I have been looking for a place that serves Nashville Hot Chicken other than chicken sandwiches, and my hopes were up because they serve 4 or 8 pieces of fried chicken.You can get your chicken plain, hot or honey butter style. I asked them to substitute thighs for the breast portions and they accommodated my request.In due course the chicken was delivered. Two boxes of 4 pieces each along with cole slaw and tater tots both $4 extra for a total bill of $32. Not bad for a delivered meal for 2 in this day and age.The chicken was a very dark brown which either meant burned seasoning or burned chicken. Perhaps a bit of each!The white meat was dry and stringy, but the dark meat was nice and moist. However, all the pieces were dripping grease when bitten into and the bottom of the box was covered in a pool of grease. The tater tots were adequate and the coleslaw needed a bit of vinegar to help its flavor.This restaurant has a health rating of R, which means it is a repeat violator of the health code and has not fixed the last violations.I cannot in good conscience give a rating higher than one star. Between all the grease, and timid seasoning as well as the health score any higher would be difficult to give.1 Star

The food was ok. They used the most obnoxious font size on earth for the menu. but the service was friendly so 5/5

I finally tried this place after hearing so much about it. The location is small but there is enough space to sit and enjoy your delicious chicken sandwich. I walked in and ordered the Honey Butter! WOW! The chicken was juicy and cooked just right! The honey butter sauce was amazing! I was on the fence about trying to Kool-aid! The attendant said Merry Christmas and gave me one, insisting I wouldn't be disappointed... she was right!!! I HIGHLY recommend going to Bird Talk And trying the chicken sandwiches and don't miss out on that red Kool-aid... taste like "Peanut" made it!! IYKYK!!!

I ordered to go food tonight for the first time and I'm glad I did. I ordered their regular chicken sandwich, half a chicken and a side of mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich was delicious good portion and had just the right amount t of toppings. The half chicken had great flavor and not too much breading. I didn't care much for the fries they were too soft and needed to be crispier. I'll try the mac and cheese tomorrow.

Went there and ordered a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese,, Mac and cheese was good , came out nice and hot , the chicken sandwich however was cold like it had been sitting there for awhile and it probably was seeing how the girl told me it would be about 10 mins for my order and it came out about 60seconds later. Guess they don't care about their take out customers as much as the ones who dine in .

The wings are so darn good! The chicken sandwich is a nice portion and so crispy and juicy. Careful with that first bite! I love the crispness of the fries and their ranch dressing. Okay, I love everything! A must try! Dining room is limited seating. Fast friendly service and piping hot food!

Bird Talk made their debut here in Tempe in 2023 and specializes in Nashville hot chicken. These guys have a menu that features various forms of chicken like chicken tenders, fried chicken, grilled chicken and wings. All types of chicken are on the menu here at Bird Talk. They also have a selection of sauces for your chicken so that you can make things as spicy and flavorful as you want. I came by here one afternoon for lunch. I am all about the sides and they have a number of them to choose from. I ordered the fried pickles and some wings to start things off. Then I ordered The Nashville with some mac and cheese. The sandwich was pretty good, but I thought the mac and cheese was the real highlight. I am a big mac and cheese guy and love it when it is really cheesy and creamy. Nashville Hot Chicken is a big thing these days and these concepts have been popping up all over the Valley. I personally don't mind having several options to choose from. Bird Talk is a solid choice.

You don't need to be as wise as an owl to know that the bird is the word! Even the bird-brained wouldn't be able to pass up the discount for this restaurant by showing a receipt from neighbor Mochi Fresh. The special bird of the day for us were the chicken nuggets. We got an order to go with the house-made honey mustard sauce. Since every item is made to order it was a small wait for the nuggets but it wasn't too bad and it gave us time to admire the cool and hilarious chicken themed art on the walls. The nuggets came with fries and were well packaged in separate paper trays that were then placed in a large Styrofoam box. While the packaging was secure it did make the food a little steamed rather than crispy by the time we got home but it was still a pretty cluckin' good meal. The breading on the chicken was nice, and the chicken looked like it was prepared by hand since there were various sizes to these chicken chunks . The meat itself was tender. I also liked the honey mustard sauce to dip the nuggets in. So if you feel like Cibo Matto in the sense that you got to Know Your Chicken, this is a good option to indulge in your culinary penchant for poultry.
