Bent Prop Saloon & Cookery

Went to lunch here with a couple of coworkers and enjoyed the food and customer service. Bent Prop has a great mix of sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and entrees. I wasn't sure what I wanted and narrowed it down to two items--a chicken wrap and the gyro wraps. The lady at the counter recommended the gyro wraps and I am so glad she did! There were four mini wraps stuffed with beef/lamb meat, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and topped with tahini. Omg! So delicious! Every bite was just so good and this included their house salad, which I filled up with before only being able to eat one wrap. The good thing is that they worked well as leftovers when I got home!The staff were very nice and helpful. And I am only 15 minutes away from here at work, so I will be back for gyro wraps soon!

First time visiting there. Just three of us. We ordered two pretty simple dishes. You order at the counter and you pick it up there when it's ready, they use a pager to let you know. The third person got what she ordered.Both orders were wrong as in not what was ordered. They took them back and the woman at the counter told us she would bring them outside to us. We waited and after what seemed like a long time I went back to check and both were ready and had been for some unknown time and the same person behind the counter told me I had failed to take the pager back with me. I didn't misunderstand what had been said the other person with me heard the same and we both assumed it would be brought out.The only contact was with the same person behind the counter and she was friendly.The food is OK, not great but I don't really expect great from a place like this. The primary reason for us to go was to watch the skydivers and that was fun. The place is a bar that serves food and has a bit of western motif.If I went again I wouldn't plan on buying a meal. If you're going to watch the skydivers you can bring you own food or snacks to the area.

Fun and interesting place to have lunch and some drinks. First time visit and it was positive. Capable friendly staff. Spacious place with indoor and outside seating. Huge tasty burgers, deep fried cheese curds, fresh side salads. Enjoyed being spectators for skydiving after our meal. Would recommend and we will come again when in the area.

Great location to watch the skydiving. Stopped in for a late lunch at this diner / bar that is on the Eloy airport and adjacent to the parachute center. There is no table service, so you order from the bar and are given a small beeper for when your order is ready. Spouse had BLT w fries and I had a hamburger with fries.The building is nice but older with plenty of seating with televisions on the wall for sports and videos of the skydiving events. Plenty of parking. Now the reason for the 3 stars. BLT was just alright a little light on the B, the L and the T and the fries were crispy to say the least. Hamburger was large but no flavor and my fries were stuck together in two large clumps and again on the crispy side. With 2 sodas bill was $30.00+

Having been around around airports and flying for many years, I've found that little airports throughout the country have great little cafes offering good food at a great value. Sorry to say, Bent Prop fell short of my expectations. Okay, Eloy is kind of remote, located between Phoenix and Tucson, and isn't a touristy area. The airport however can be bustling with planes and parachuters throughout the year, so I was hopeful. As with many restaurants, staffing is short and they have very limited table service. You should expect to order drinks and food at the bar, and possibly return to the bar ti pick up your food. The food is the typical mix of bar fare, and prices seem a little steep for what you get. Overall, not a great value. The service was fairly fast and very engaging. I'd imagine that parking could be very difficult when there's a parachute event going on. There seems to be a lot of "no parking signs" around the restaurant. I'll be sure to give them another try next time I'm in the area visiting a friend, and hope that my experience and review will be improved.

Awesome bar/food. The burgers were incredible! The service was friendly and quick. They had an event going so we ate in the bar. Fun to watch all the skydiving. Will be back. Lots to see.

It was good. Honestly the thing I would complain about is silly but important. You can't order lunch and breakfast at the same time. It's only one or the other. What if you go 10 minutes before they change menus and one person wants bacon n eggs and one person wants a sandwich? Can't you just do both? Nope. Not even fir a blt which is basically a breakfast no eggs

I legit love this place! It has food and some entertainment thats for sure i guess i wasn't sure what to expect. They have a full bar restaurant in the back. A porch to walk out and eat at. They do have some seating to watch around the drop area but it wouldn't hurt to bring your own chairs or umbrellas. They have astro turf so you can sit in the shade on it as well. This is a must see very different.. in a good way! Not something you'll see everyday thats for sure.

BPS is a bar and restaurant located at the airport in Eloy , Arizona . Eloy is the skydiving capital of the USA . It's a bustling airport and it felt like a small community . There was a gift /pro shop . Rooms to rent , a sky diving wind tunnel several large hangers where they were giving skydiving instruction and a lot more .The best thing about the restaurant was you could sit outside and watch skydivers float to the ground . We saw at least 10 while we were dining .The food was good . I had a fried chicken sandwich with a salad . One of my friends had a side of onion rings and they were delicious . This place is more about the airspace than the dining space but the food and service were pretty good !

Carlos, I appreciate you responding to my review. We dined with a party of 6 April 1. Arriving about 6:30 pm. The barmaid/ waitress was most helpful and personable. Most of us had the wing special of the night. The food arrived quickly and hot. All of us commented how good all of it was. As I said in my original review I would be back.
