Bak & Jo Bakery and Coffee

Have been wanting to stop here for quite some time now and finally made it in. It was around 2:30pm when my friend and I stopped by and there were a few customers there.The worker was checking somebody out but he greeted us right away. We ordered one strawberry matcha lemonade with popping pearls, (i think this was the drink) one thai tea, and we both got a salted chocolate chop cookie. Both drinks were good and they were refreshing and cold. The thai tea was perfect and had a creamy consistency. The cookies were baked just right as they were soft in the inside and had a nice crunch on the outside. The salt that was sprinkled on top was the cherry on top. Service was great and the inside of the café was clean and comfy. Will be back!

Located in the north Mesa area, is a hidden coffee place that also serves food. It was the bahn mi sandwiches that brought us in! I got the pork bahn mi to go. My husband got the tofu. While waiting the staff offered us to try some of their "in the works" signature drinks. Both were great! I recommend their coffee items. If you're watching the sugar content, they'll be able to adjust. The staff were super nice and inviting. I would come back again.

Having enjoyed banh mi in the Bay Area, I was disappointed by the limited vegan options in Arizona, until I found this place. Their vegan banh mi is amazing is perfectly balanced mix of fresh ingredients and satisfying crunch. The sandwich pairs excellently with a refreshing Thai tea that complements the savory profile. Whether you're vegan or simply craving a quality banh mi, this spot is well worth a visit. I'd also recommend getting the cookie sandwich from Sweet Simon! I love a chewy chocolate cookie and this did not fail to disappoint.

Great place with chill vibes for studying or reading a book. Music isn't loud like some coffee shops so you can actually relax or concentrate. Coffee is good and my bahn mi was really flavorful. I will definitely be back!

I really liked this coffee shop a lot. It has a lot of space, so it's a great place to work from in my opinion and it's not overly loud. I love Vietnamese coffee but most coffees use espresso not the standard way. The Vietnamese coffee was really good and they recommended adding a salted cold foam- the first sip is intense but once it pairs with the coffee it blends well together. He also let us try and seasonal mint drink with oat milk, I'm definitely not a mint person (except for toothpaste) but the flavor was slightly different and balanced and honestly pretty good. My friend was obsessed with this drink. Overall, I definitely plan to come back here and work and also very interested in trying the banh mi sandwich!

Stopped in because I was in the mood for a good bakery item. Definitely going to come here more, not only for the great pastries and coffee, but the kind staff and the awesome atmosphere. It's a really nice place, and makes you forget about the daily city life around you. I enjoyed the Nutella Croissant so much, that I literally am counting the minutes until this weekend, so I can go back. I can't believe I let myself leave with just one... this place BLEW my mind

Bak & Jo is great! This was my second time in- the first I only got a pastry but I came back this time for lunch. I got the spicy tofu banh mi sandwich. It was SO yummy. The veggies were all fresh and delicious, the tofu was nice and crispy on the outside, and everything was flavored so well. What I love most about this place though is how nice the staff are! I feel like they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable.

Great pastries, think we tried all the croissants and all were delicious. Bahn mi was great. Very good service and clean restaurant. Overall I would definitely recommend.

10/10 service 10/10 food 10/10 vibes. I love this place! Staff were so friendly and brought us some macrons. Those were so yummy and flavorful for sure. I loved the brown sugar. I got a sub and then a coffee and a bahn mi. All delicious. Coffee had a really sharp flavor that was irresistible. The subs were just delicious. Soft crunchy bread and fresh veggies. I had pico on mine because they were out of tomato but it was actually so delicious! My new favorite sandwich place.

Awesome experience today, found this place since we were in the area. I got a Vietnamese iced coffee and a strawberry and cream croissant. Both were absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I just spent time talking and one of the workings gave us complementary macaroons to try. The service is exceptional, definitely will be making the drive from Phoenix!
