Backyard

OMG, what an awesome esperience and atmosphere. Trista was my bar tender and she absolutely rocked it! She never let my drink go dry, food was on point, she answered all my menu questions and she has a smile to die for. She was extremely friendly and bubbly, what an assett to this establishment. It helps that she's gorgeous and obviously smart and can carry a converstation. I'll be back soon, maybe just to talk to her ;)

Recently I pop by at the Backyard, always all my favorite bartenders were there. You must try the Backyard burger, it's fire. Shotout to one of my favorite bartender Trista. Just tell her your fav drink and she can mix some s@&% just ask.

At the time I started writing this review a few weeks ago, there's still plenty of construction going on inside and out. I'm sure by now it should be completed. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! I had the chicken tenders, my husband had a salad which he said was fantastic and my cousin ordered the salmon tacos, and she was impressed as well since she was visiting from Oregon. This is a great place so far and I hope it stays that way because I can see myself returning here for Football Sunday. Overall, it has a very nice and fun vibe. Love the Volkswagen Beetle and all the artwork that's inside for pictures.

I really didn't want to leave a review, but I can't stay silent about my experience. The food was absolutely awful - we didn't even finish the wings. The cookie brownie dessert with ice cream was a disaster. Every single dish we ordered was below average. To top it off, gratuity was included in the bill, which was fine because our server was attentive and deserved a tip, but an other service charge? When I saw the $17 price tag for a Bloody Mary with no olive or celery stick, I couldn't keep quiet any longer. The only redeeming quality of this place is the beautiful Arizona weather, as most of the seating is outdoors. Unfortunately, the atmosphere can't make up for the terrible food and overpriced drinks. We should have gone to Zipps instead - their food is significantly better, and their Bloody Marys are a quarter of the price.

We went there this past Sunday to watch the football playoffs ...got there at 1:15 and was told there were no tables yet there were at least 10, maybe more, that were reserved but was still empty. My friend was heading to the car to go someplace else however i approached the ladies up front and basically complained that you had all these reserved tables with nobody sitting there how can you let us leave? They conferred for a second and then said we'll find you a table. So that was bad but then good but shouldn't have to go through that. Now for the food ...we got the potato skins -Do Not Buy them you will be disappointed only four small skins for $14 however when the bill came it was 14.50 with a note that said the sour cream on the side I guess it cost 50 cents to put it on the side instead of on top of the skin ...how incredibly cheap of management.. The cheesesteak sandwich had mostly bread very little cheese steak. Fried chicken sandwich was decent as were the fries. Was going to get the sticky ribs but at $18 and only four ribs you could have it. The best part of the experience is plenty of TVs and our waitress Greta was awesome

Daughter and friend met here for happy hour and dinner. Service was good, but food was not. Ordered a beef and cheese with horseradish on the side. Delivered meal came with no cheese nor horseradish, bun was soggy and fries were meh! Our appetizer was the spinach artichoke dip with pita chips. They forgot the artichoke as it was all green spinach and the chips were chewy. The cocktail was one of theirs and that was good. But overall experience was forgettable. They need to step up their game if they are going to survive with the prices and lack of food.

Took the family for lunch. First off the vibe is cool. They had a guy playing live music that was really good. But ultimately we were there to eat. And I will say I used to work at a bar so I don't expect bar food to blow my mind. I ordered the $19 cheese steak. I figured for that price it would be pretty legit. It was pretty underwhelming. The kids got kids pizza. They love pizza. They wouldn't eat it. I wish this place had better food. Or at least food that matched the price. But with so many good options in the area it's hard to imagine we will be back

We really enjoyed our time at Backyard. We had the happy hour fries and a couple glasses of wine. As vegetarians, this is not the restaurant for us, but it is a great place to watch a game. Wish they at least had a veggie burger on the menu.

Food was decent better when they brought it out the second time but forgot the meat in my nachos. Really cute restaurant great service ambiance was cool with DJ and fun middle age crowd we had a good time but food wasn't the best. Brooke M was amazing
