Awesomesauce Bowls

Self-proclaiming themselves as 'Awesome' may have not been the best idea because it really sets the bar high. With a name like that you really have to talk the talk. The food sounded really appetizing, and the size of the crowd waiting, and line to order built even more hype. But after a long-anticipated 20 MINUTE WAIT for my food, I was not impressed.I got the Fajita Bowl without beans. The rice was just plain white rice. The guacamole was the premade kind out of the package, I tell because it was that smooth, frozen yogurt consistency just squeezed on to the dish, not even homemade. The tomatoes were the basic cherry tomatoes thrown on top. Very basic. It was LACKING SAUCE. I felt like I needed more sauce to flavor the ingredients. The sauce was not awesome, it was just OKAY-SAUCE, but maybe I wasn't able to have accurate judgement because I didn't get very much sauce. The chicken and steak were the only things that had to be cooked. With such simple composition and plating of the dish, I am not sure why it took so long. There were 2 people cooking and prepping and 1 person taking orders going back and forth finishing the plating of the food.Due to the inability to put out orders, I see why the waiting lines grew so big.I wouldn't have been as upset about the wait if my food turned out awesome as advertised, but unfortunately my food did not stand out. Double whammy

There awesome sauce bowl is pretty good. The bowl has plenty of rice or mixed greens and veggies in it and the garlic sauce is delicious. You don't get very much meat, which you have to pay extra up to 3 dollars more so expect to pay between 9 to 13 dollars per bowl. The food has a great flavor and the combinations they have are great, however the only thing I think I could possibly ask for is that the food that's served is hotter, by the time you start eating it, the food is a bit cold.

Love this fresh, healthy take on food trucks! The buffalo bowl is my favorite! Would recommend to anyone.

Our work brought them in for lunch. It was a nice change of pace from a typical weekday lunch. The fresh, healthy ingredients left me full without feeling bleh for the rest of the day.

This is hands down one of my favorite food trucks! Actually, it is my absolute favorite. I love the concept, the sauces and the freshness. Everything is made specific to your order at the time of your order. The bowls are full of flavor and the menu options are very well put together. I can't wait to catch this truck again and I would definitely recommend them!

I got the fajita bowl, which was just okay. While the steak had a lot of flavor, I felt the overall flavor was lacking. It had fresh ingredients, which I liked, and the staff was great, but I probably wouldn't return.

I've tried a few of the bowls on their menu and haven't had one that wasn't delicious, but I love that I can build my own bowl. The ingredients are fresh, the meat is super tasty and grilled on the spot, and I'm obsessed with the roasted garlic house "Awesomesauce." It's a lot of food and I always think I won't be able to finish it all - but then I do! Every time!

My Fajita Bowl as just perfect. I love the amount they put into the bowl for each food. Its filling, but not too much! The meat was cooked to perfection! It was a really good bowl. I will definitely be eating from there again in the future. I definitely recommend giving it a try!
