Auntie was amazing! Definitely call first. Some items may not be available. But that made it possible for us to try some items that we hadn't selected but wanted to try at a later time.The fried chicken was juicy, the skin CRISPY (and this was after driving back to Casa Grande from Maricopa) The jerk chicken was moist, as was the BBQ turkey, and so flavorful. The sides were all good. I usually don't eat baked beans but I kept going back for more. And I love red beans and rice, no complaints there. The snapper! Caution, there are many bones in this fish, but it was delicious.The banana. pudding. I used to work at a restaurant well known for its banana pudding, used to make it myself there. I've never had it baked. I may never be able to go back. I recommend giving Auntie's a try, you will not be disappointed

Fried chicken was crispy and juicy. Texture of the crust really was perfect and light. The fried fish had the same coating which is flour but I don't think it had any cornmeal. Just in case you have a preference that's good to make note of. Would LIVE it if they at some point have a spicy version of the chicken. Had cabbage and a spinach pasta (forgot the name) which was flavored really well. I could eat that pasta all day long and I'm not normally someone who goes for pasta dishes. Friendly service as well. The location is behind the emergency room and by Maricopa High School which is somewhat tucked away but worth the search. Will definitely be back!

Went back to this restaurant with my sister who was visiting from Florida. Everything that what ordered was absolutely delicious!!! Spoke with owner who was really gracious and a down to earth person. I will be trying to see what the offerings are today

Great food. Friendly staff. Definitely will be going back. I ordered the banana pudding, hand dipped fried chicken, catfish fillets with sides. The food was worth the weight.

I had an amazing experience with Auntie's. The customer service was outstanding and was so glad to see the palate brought to my neighborhood. My wife and I waited to experience until the bugs of Grand Opening were worked out! We finally dove in and decided to try some down home cooking before libations. My wife and I were disappointed because we discovered it was take out only! But that did not deter us and we were ready to dive in! I was feeling Catfish with green, potato salad and fried okra while my wife who is very picky was feeling Fried Chicken Breast with greens, yams and macaroni & cheese. To my dismay the only items available we were looking for was the Catfish, mac & cheese, greens and potato salad!!! There was no core menu and selection were whatever was prepared for that day. Service was above board and we were offered samples which were great, but not what we were looking for. We purchased Banana pudding which is my wife's favorite for desert later. If I am looking for a quick bite and have an open mind on what to eat on the run, This would be my place. I would love to see a dining area and a core menu of soul food staples so you can make it your go to soul food joint. Already doing it like in Aunties Kitchen where you get what's available! But now is the time to do it like Aunties restaurant and have a menu with staples we enjoy every day! Looking for some great soul food, I would definitely check it out. Just make sure you have an open mind as to what's available if you do not call first. Wish you the best and I will be back again! How can I recommend somebody when they don't even stay open half the time and then I have to get on Facebook to make an order. I don't think that's right. I called the phone number. Nobody answers would like to try something from your restaurant, but how can I when you don't even give me a chance?

Call ahead to order your food! If you don't, and go in to order, the wait will be lengthy. Three stars for that Five stars for the food! You won't be disappointed. There are tables outside to sit and eat, but it's more of an order to go place.

Aunties soul food and Grill is a black owned business the owners are from Chicago.please phone your orders in to see what aunties is cooking for a no wait experience...ohh yeah there's outside seating in front of the restaurant...remember this is a take out restaurant. And the food is cook to order.
