This is a solid spot for Chinese food that's approachable and well-suited for the Gilbert crowd. They do a good job of domesticating Asian flavors in a way that feels fresh and satisfying, offering a lot more variety than Panda Express without straying too far from familiar tastes.The portions are generous, the chicken is noticeably better quality, and the menu includes a good mix of proteins, veggies, and carbs for a balanced meal. It's not the most authentic Chinese spot, but if you're looking for well-executed, crowd-pleasing flavors with good value--something better than processed fast food--this is the place. A reliable choice for takeout or a quick, satisfying meal.

Calling in an order was easy and quick! Very polite and helpful staff. Order was ready when promised and the food was tasty! We enjoyed the complimentary wonton chips and portion sizes were generous.

We have returned here several times. The food is great never sat and eaten there. We've always had it to go. My kids don't like the soup, but we still get the family meal and they will eat the rest. Staff is very friendly and we've never had an issue with the food. We usually eat here three or four times a year.

Tried it out after reading the reviews. We dined in and the food was nice and hot with a fresh taste. Place is clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly.

Delicious! Family owned and operated. Super quick turnaround time. Generally ready for you in 10-15 mins. We love the House Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Crab Rangoons and the Steamed Pork Dumplings. Very consistent delicious food and nice people running it. Highly recommend!

We finally found it!!!!! We have been looking for good New York Chinese food, especially chow mein with crispy noodle (soft noodles in the dish is Lo mein not chow mein). Well when I called this in the gentleman on the phone clearly reminded me of that (yay). The vegetable chow mein was very good , the broccoli was crunchy which I like but hubby not as much.The vegetable fried rice was great. The flavor and freshness was on point. The bbq ribs were meaty and tasty. The chicken Szechuan was very good as well. Nice veggies and good sauce. The chicken was a bit thicker than I like so will probably try a different protein next time. But we are so happy to have finally found a good Chinese food place.

Decided to order some lunch via Uber Eats and was really craving some good orange chicken that tasted similar to Panda Express. I read some of the raving reviews here and on google. I was very disappointed when my food arrived. The shrimp fried rice tasted burnt and the eggs in the fried rice were actually burnt the shrimp was overcooked. The orange chicken was hot when it arrived but it tasted overcooked rubbery and like they gave me food that had been sitting under a heating light for hours. There's nothing better than fresh orange chicken right out the wok but this was not that. Asian City if you see this review please for the foreseeable future do not give your customers food that has been sitting for hours. We want our food made fresh to order! That food tasted so bad I threw it all in the trash after taking two bites inedible. I really do not understand the 4 star rating.

I'm not a huge fan of Asian cuisine but this food was pretty good... in addition, the portions you get here are quite large, the wife and I had a-lot of food to take back home with us... the leftovers we had the following day heated up real nice! They have a very friendly staff/family working here, everyone there was extremely nice..... it was a little chilly inside the restaurant but the quality of the food more than made up for it! We will definitely be back...

By far the worst food I've ever tried to eat. It stinks like old fish. I'd never eat here again. I bought $100 worth of food and threw it in the trash. Do not eat here!

This was the first time ordering from Asian City. Everything was very good. I like that it is a family owned business.
