Angie's prime and grill

Breakfast is a hard pass, unless you like your food luke warm to cold. I really wanted to like this place but after the 3 tries and the same outcome, I'll pass. Then food is decent but definitely requires microwaving.

I was excited to check out Angie's Lobster in Tempe based on the rave reviews and mouth-watering food pics. Friends of mine had sung its praises, so when I found out there was a location near me in Gilbert, I thought, "Lunch, here I come!"Sadly, my excitement was more overcooked than the shrimp I ordered. I got a Warm Lobster Roll and a Fried Shrimp Meal, and both left me feeling like I'd ordered from the 'Expectations vs. Reality' menu. The lobster roll looked nothing like the menu pic - mostly shredded and drier than my sense of humor. The melted butter packet was the only thing that kept me from calling it a total loss. It tasted okay, but I wasn't about to start singing sea shanties in its honor.The Fried Shrimp Meal was equally disappointing. The shrimp were overcooked and about as tender as my resolve to eat healthier. As a shrimp lover, I was hoping they would turn things around, but alas, no. I wish that they'd offer more than just their one sauce, Angie's Sauce. I'm a diehard fan of good ol' cocktail sauce. The french fries were the definition of 'meh' - I didn't hate them, but I didn't love them either.Maybe I went on an off day, or maybe my taste buds are just drama queens. Or, perhaps, I let the hype imbue some unrealistic expectations? Either way, my visit to Angie's Lobster in Gilbert was a bit of a shell shock.

We wanted a quick breakfast for everyone today before starting out busy day! My daughter went thru the drive thru and this is what I had. Not bad for $4.69!!!! That's right, $4.69 for the entire meal. The bread was fresh and soft, crispy bacon and REAL eggs were cooked perfectly. I'm dying to try their fried lobster roll....next time!

We loved the warm crab roll over the lobster roll! Friendly customer service. There's a walk up window or drive thru.

Not bad for a local fast food run. Fried shrimp is pretty good and nice sized. Lobster roll was ok. Nothing to write home about. It's very small and no flavor. Could use more sauces for the shrimp. Fries are average. Bring your debit or credit card. No cash. Drive thru service only and no where to sit. Not bad for Gilbert Chandler area.

No frills AWESOMENESS!!! GREAT FOOD and great concept. Service is quick and seafood was fresh. Can't wait to go back.

This place is awesome! Everything I've had was always great and the price is unbelievably low! Healthy food, amazing taste and quantity, great price, and solid service. Now a once a week staple for me.

This is a review only for the service not the food. We drove up around 4:15 and placed our order for 3 lobster rolls and a fried lobster tails meal with 6 extra sauces. I noticed we were missing the sauces so I parked and walked up to the window. After 5 min with no answer I proceeded to go to through the drive through again and waited another 15 min. The girl apologized and we drove off. To my surprise when we got home I ended up with 5 sauces and my son's fried meal consisted of 2 lobster tails and fish (which he hates). Please check your orders before leaving.

DISAPPOINTING. I had looked forward to trying this for months. Today it turned out I was nearby so I went. Ordered the shrimp plate. My drink was half sweet/half unsweetened tea. Didn't have sweet tea. Ok. When I got my order - I had to get the plastic silverware and napkins from a disgustingly dirty bin outside by drive up window. My order was handed and the window closed. I waited. I waited. Two cars are behind me and I'm still waiting. I finally honk. The woman comes - annoyed and looks at me. I ask for lemon and cocktail sauce. We don't have those, I'm told. You sell seafood. How can you not have lemon?? I don't want this then. I handed her the drink and bag. She took them and left me at the window again. I waited. And waited. I honked again to get her attention. What did you need she said to me. Well I just returned my order so I need a refund. Oh, you want your money back? Well, what am I paying you for if you haven't sold me anything? She asked for my card. Handed me the card back and then closed the window again. This time I honked right away. Did you need something else? A receipt please showing I was refunded. Oh. Why? So you can prove you gave me a refund..... I will never go back. TERRIBLE service and how do you not have lemon selling fish lobster and shrimp??

DISCONTINUED THE FRIED LOBSTER!! This was my favorite!! this should've have been made known to the customers prior to a very sudden discontinuation. this was very upsetting experience. Not much is left on the menu now.
