This review is way overdue and I deeply apologize to the owners for the delay. I had my wedding at this venue on April 6th 2019, and it was so perfect! This was the first and only venue that I visited and I was taken away by the beauty of it. Josh was with us from day one and was very accommodating. Even when we had a last minute videographer issue, he was immediately able to help us find a professional and decent priced videographer. Even on the day of the event, we never even had to lift a finger with anything. It was truly one of the best days, and was so beautiful and elegant. Now me and my husband have been married for 2 years and have a 7 month old son. And I can't wait to share my video and pictures with my little one

Got married here October 2021 and they did such an amazing job at making our day perfect! The communication between our coordinators up until the day of were so supportive and made wedding planning very easy. We used the vendors through them and eleven their partner vendors were amazing always answering my questions and followed up when I forgot. I definitely would use them again for baby shower, or garden party it's tucked in and very private so you forget your in the middle of a city. 10/10

Very disappointing! At first glance the place seemed quaint with curb appeal. But, having the most important day of your life there was a huge mistake my cousin made. The officiant, food, and cake were great. The venue showed neglect and multiple mishaps occurred on the wedding night. The trash cans that line the eastside of the venue were all heap full of the prior wedding's rotting food and decomposing trash. What a stench! The ladies' bathroom soap dispenser did not work, and the paper towel caddy thing was jammed. The venue assistant person forgot they were given the guest book at the rehearsal, and it didn't get placed out until the ceremony started. The sound system crackled and faded in and out during their wedding vows. It was so annoying not to have been able to hear what the bride and groom said to each other in that magical moment! My cousin and her new husband had to cut their wedding cake standing in a giant puddle of water that was leaking out of the venue house and draining under the cake table. The most irritating thing about each of these eyesores, is that efficient management and pride of venue ownership would have remedied each problem!

We absolutely loved our wedding at An Old Town Wedding and Event Center. The owner Joshua and his staff were incredible. They were friendly and flexible when it came to planning and making request but they absolutely shined during the event. Any crisis that arose as we knew they would with any event was handled perfectly. They are experienced, friendly, supportive. Anyone and everyone should have their wedding here!

This place is a beautiful place to get married! It was everything we could have asked for. It was perfect and great pics to take at! :) Joshua was great and our communication with the whole wedding was awesome and flexible. Dj was a sweetheart and bartender was great! From the first day of tour of the place up until the wedding day I have nothing but positive things to say. The people, place and location are perfect. But the day of the wedding, I was blown away by how prepared they were from every little detail, the professionalism and politeness, and positivity of the staff! They are amazing. They arranged everything for us, to include the ceremony, photographer, officiant, DJ, florist, Cake and catering. I can not say anything negative and would recommend them again and again. Josh, Haley, and Eric are absolutely amazing and helped make our wedding better than we ever imagined. Not only are they affordable, but they will also do whatever you need or want to have your day go right.To start, leading up to the wedding the communication was perfect. They answered all our questions, changed or choices when we decided we wanted something different (such as adding the photo booth), and were thoroughly helpful overall. They were always in touch when we needed assistance or assurance, and also helped talk my wife out of catering the wedding herself. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and they even added updates leading up to our big day which made it even more astonishing. At night with all the lights on the place is truly magical, and they should be extremely proud of what they have accomplished with it. Josh and Haley were also always clear on what was needed on their end, and they were one of the few people we talked to that allowed us to customize our wedding perfectly to us. The prime example of this was adding a cigar lounge to the front patio.In the days before the event we had our rehearsal and last minute coordination, and Josh himself acted as our coordinator, which pleased us greatly. He was great with our family and friends and made it clear what needed to be done the day of the wedding. We even had some last minute changes he assisted in implementing. On the day of we dropped everything off around 11am and it was all set up in great order by the time of the ceremony at 4:30pm.During the even Josh, Haley, and Eric were always by our side assisting with whatever we needed, from communication between parties to getting us water. About 30 minutes before the ceremony the one button on my jacket fell off, and Josh had it ran over to his grandmother's house, who personally fixed it in time for the service. Our DJ also turned out to be a dud, and I spoke to Josh about getting him to play the music we had actually requested etc. About ten minutes later the music improved. He made sure all scheduled events were done early in the night and implemented anything we asked, including a "candid photos only" rule so my wife and I could enjoy our night.It is impossible to describe just how wonderful and perfect Josh, Haley, and Eric made our big night. It was not only the best night of our lives but of many there, in large part due to the venue and the work these 3 put into making the day amazing. We would not have it any other way! I absolutely recommend having your wedding here and working with Josh, Haley, and Eric. They will go above and beyond to make it the most amazing day of your life.The only complaints/recommendations:- I highly recommend having an extra staff or two just for unloading the stuff and then packing up at the end of the night. We would have paid for this service - I would keep stuff to sew on hand so that it does not have to go to grandma's. The story and gesture are amazing, but also stressful at the time!- Some sort of connection between the bridal suite and groom room would be awesome, we had a few people in both parties and they got their steps in! Maybe just even approve 2-3 people for going through the middle areas.

My fiancé and I were so amazed at the packages the website has posted (to this day & very minute) and it drew us to book a tour and meet with Haley. The day of the tour was nice and we figured for the prices posted online we'd move forward with booking. I emailed Haley to go over discrepancies in the paper she sent us home with because there was a $1,635 difference plus a 3.5 sales tax instead of the (still posted) 2.5% sales tax. She emailed back saying she's be happy to clear up my confusion and told me about how everything costs more money these days. Understandable. We all know inflated prices are everywhere. Since this was caught and is still posted online -I asked if they could honor the prices listed. Haley said they could not but she would honor the 2.5% sales tax. Fine, we moved forward and when emailing with Haley about the final breakdowns we were about $20ish dollars off. I asked for a line by line and instead she sent me the package. I had the numbers. She had the numbers but obviously our numbers being added didn't match up. Finally She sent me her break down which had the officiant listed at $175 instead of the $150 she hand wrote on our paper on the first day we met. When I pointed out what the discrepancy was I was met with passive aggressive words saying that it was "super wierd..." (yes, that's spelled wrong-her doing not mine) and other words. I had also previously asked for her to call me so we didn't have to email back and forth but she said no and that she is at home responding to emails. I've attached all proof. I sent an emailing saying after all the deceitful communication we would not be moving forward. I hope that if anyone books here that they just pay very close attention to their prices online compared to what they give you. They did respond to my email and said that the prices listed are for 2022 but no where does it state that. They also said that 2023 pricing "takes time to update". It's a PDF that's downloadable- this takes seconds to add to the bottom stating 2023 pricing.

Beautiful place. Great packages and prices. All a future bride would be looking got in her dream wedding. But unfortunately, customer service of this company in regards to communication is lacking. When we first signed up online at this companies website to receive information about availability, cost, and tour, we were right before entering New Years holiday. The company did get back to us right away before out on leave providing a date and time when we could tour the facility and go over logistics. This was great (at first) to see quick communication as most good businesses do. We responded within the same day confirming date and time for initial meeting. After holiday passed, I sent a couple of emails confirming date and time since never received any correspondence after excepting the invitation. I also called and left message on the phone to make sure someone would be at location to meet with us on the suggested date and time......no response nor call back. On the set date for initial meeting, my fiancé and I decided to just go see if someone would be there....hoping we would meet up. Luckily, both managers were there and were able to have us tour the facility. Though we were excited and made a date to sign formal agreement for our wedding, we should have taken this lack of correspondence as a sign. Especially when one of them finally answered my "is this ok time to meet" email a week after we had already met with them.The following week after taking initial tour, I went out to sign our contract agreement for our wedding. Lots of pages and info which I know is normal for event centers, especially those with packages that include everything needed for your big day. I made my down payment and was told that a copy of the electronic document I signed would be sent to me for my records. I did not receive anything right away, and waited 7 days before sending an email to give them time since. The email stated that I had not received our copy of our contract, and did not see in Spam. I asked if they could resend and let us know good time when to come in and make another payment.....no response. I let another 5 days go before sending another email asking for same thing. The day after that email, we got a nice response stating they will send copy shortly to our email sent the day before. And we also got a not so nice email responding to the one sent five days earlier. That email made it seem like we were being annoying in asking for an electronic document that can be simply attached to an email. They also asked for another week before sending us our copy in this email. This was the second time of poor correspondence, as well as bad customer service. We did not deserve the feeling of putting them in a poor position for asking for a signed document to be attached on email. Nor was there a need for a rude sounding email if they were disgruntle about the two emails I sent considering the time they were spread apart. It would be safe to assume that this was only the beginning of what type of service we may encounter. After a couple days of discussion, we decided to let the managers know that we no longer will be having our wedding at their facility and asked what the process was for a refund. Instantly we heard back from the management team stating that our date was cancelled as requested, but per the contract, nothing we paid was refundable. Also, surprisingly but not so surprisingly, our contract was attached to that email. So all of this could have been easily avoided, yet was not. And the managers wanted to use something I signed on a multiple page contract, that was quickly read to me, yet was never sent for my files even after requesting a copy. I let the company know how we felt about the refund, their correspondence, and communication errors. Though we will not receive a refund, we are glad we experienced this with this company to inform others of the service they may get.

Got married here in 2019. It is a beautiful venue, and I loved our wedding. The only issues we had were after. We lost $700. They told us we could not get our deposit of $500 back because a game of theirs was damaged, however we never even used it. We had no games at our wedding. The other $200 we had to pay because my mom and aunt, whom did all our food/ cookies and cake needed to be there early. The only way they were allowed to do so is if they paid the venue $200. However, we were told they didn't and no one could get a hold of them after the fact so my husband and I had to pay that with our last payment.
