Amici Catering

This was my first time catering and it was for my daughter's baby shower. I could not have been luckier to hire Amici Catering. Most of our communication was via email because of my long work days. Anything could have been misunderstood but Lori is a real pro. We managed to arrange everything within two emails. Lori showed up right on time (actually a little early) and got right to work getting everything set up. We had the mac and cheese martinis - which were FABULOUS, especially with all the toppings to choose from. Highly recommend that item on the menu. The Amici menu is so diverse and the prices are really reasonable. My daughter wanted light snacks with some protein for an 11am start. The frittatas were yummy and the sausage and bacon were gone within 20 minutes of opening the lid. Everything we had was fresh, gorgeous and all of the hot plates were empty by the time our first guests left. My daughter and son-in-law were absolutely delighted. I'm so grateful. Choosing Amici catering for my wedding was the best decision I could have made for our food needs!! Lori is so easy to work with, organized and thorough. She makes sure that all the details are perfect for the event! She is incredibly professional and her staff were wonderful! They helped to make sure that our appetizers and dinner were not only delicious but perfectly timed and ran smoothly. The steak and chicken plus all of the sides were very tasty and our guests were also very impressed with the food. She also is very mindful to dietary restrictions when preparing her meals. We loved working with Lori and her team and would recommend them to anyone looking for an event in area!!

We used Lori, Scott and their amazing staff for a celebration of life for my nephew. It was a very difficult time for our family but they had a vision that was absolutely stunning and the food was amazing! They were so respectful and kind and even helped hand out programs and made sure guests had water at the service. They went so far beyond the call of duty we will use them every opportunity we get. I would highly recommend them. Will look forward to a happier occasion in the future!! Thank you to you all for taking care of my sister!!

Dear Lori, I attended a conference in Phoenix AZ Feb 27-March 2, 2018. I was at first pleasantly surprised, and then continually delighted by the quality of the food provided for breakfast and lunch. It is not only delicious, it's a lovely change from my 30+ years of "conference food" that always include cheap dishes easily made in bulk. Heavy pasta with cream for lunch, overdone meats and limp vegetables are what I'm used to. Delicious foods that include salads with pepitas, quinoa and scratch-made salad dressings have been a delightful and progressive change. Along with a hat's off to your chefs, I cannot underscore the importance of our servers. Kirk was lovely, friendly and pleasant on the day she served us. Every other day we had Holly, who has exceeded every expectation I had for personal attention, courtesy, attention to detail, efficiency and exceptional service. I cannot thank you enough for providing us a remarkable experience during our time here. I hope you have an employee recognition program, and will recognize and reward the chefs, Kirk, and especially Holly for their remarkable dedication to their profession. Our family is going through the worst tragedy imaginable. Our beautiful son passed away.My husband and I wanted to plan a celebration of life party for him. We knew what we wanted but couldn't get it together enough to make it happen, so we decided to hire an event planner.After we initially spoke to Lori we knew she was our girl!Lori and her talented chef husband Scott were there to answer any questions we had. We put a lot of faith in their hands and they came through! Above and beyond!The day of the party Lori and her amazing crew showed up 2 hours early to set up and they meant business! When I went outside to see how everything looked, I was shocked!! It was WAY beyond our expectations! Everything was perfect! The decor! The ambiance! The food! The flowers! The crew! Everyone is still talking about how lucky we are to have found Lori! And raving about Scott's delicious food!Thank you Lori and Scott for bringing sunshine on a cloudy day!

I contacted AMICI Catering and worked with an employee by the name of Lori. I had a negative experience with her attitude and condescending manner. I did not feel we would have a good working relationship because she became very impatient with me during our interactions. She was very knowledgeable about her industry, but unfortunately lacked any empathy or compassion for a bride who does not. I would not recommend this company. I can't comment on food because I didn't taste it.

I spoke with both Lori and the owner of the bartending company. Both were extremely apologetic about the mix-up with the timing and that speaks volumes about the integrity of both businesses. If the bartender leaving an hour earlier than expected was the worst thing that happened before, during, and after this party, I'd say we did alright. ;) Many thanks (again) to Amici for awesome food and fabulous customer service.

I used Amici for my companies Holiday party this past weekend and I have nothing but great things to say about this company! Lori, the owner is so friendly, professional and responsive. She made me feel completely at ease the day of the event and took care of everything! The food was incredible and the presentation was beautiful. Everybody at the party couldn't stop talking about how great the food was. Thank you to Lori and her team! We have found our new go to for catering :)

Lori and Amici Catering were fabulous! We celebrated my husband's big birthday in our home with 60 people. First, Lori nailed the menu: Asian and gluten-free for the birthday boy. She made sure the food was fun, delicious and interesting. The attention to detail was noticed by everyone: personalized fortune cookies dipped in gold and chocolate, lettuce wraps clipped with a very tiny clothes pin, stir fries and Pad Thai in take out boxes - amazing. I loved working with Lori. She's creative yet organized, a problem solver and makes things happen. We forgot olives for martinis and someone was sent to the store. The flow and timing were perfect. She knows how to throw an amazing party and her staff were unobtrusive, yet friendly and hardworking. Amici is a very professional organization and I very highly recommend them. Lori and her team did a fantastic job Catering a celebration of life for my husband in January in N. Scottsdale. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Working with her from start to finish was very smooth and they were very thorough, having the answers to my questions before I even asked them. All of our guests commented on how top-notch it was!
