Wow! Only open for 5 weeks and we were blown away. The restaurant is on the smaller side and does not take reservations. Expect a wait at dinner if you don't arrive right around 5pm. The decor is an Italian feel and not too over the top. The acoustics are ok, can hold a conversation well. We had 6 in our party and we all ordered a different cocktail and a different pasta meal. We started with the bruschetta and they were nice enough to cut the 3 pieces it came with into 6 half pieces and it was displayed very nicely! The drinks were on the generous side and were very tasty! The pasta is made fresh daily in house! Our party ordered the fettuccine bolognese, the smoked salmon linguini, the seafood linguini, the cacio e Pepe, the porcini mushroom risotto and the rigatoni chicken. The cacio e Pepe is prepared table side in a cheese wheel! All of them were DELICIOUS. The portions are very large ~ definitely enough for one and maybe even leftovers if you have an appetizer beforehand or share a salad also.We did indulge in dessert as well. Two of us ordered the sticky toffee pudding which was enough to share with two people. We also ordered the tiramisu which again was enough to share! I also ordered an espresso which came in a cute mug! Wonderful experience and I plan to go back very soon!

The ambiance was great and it's a cute little restaurant but I felt like the food was a bit flat. The menu looked and sounded amazing but the flavors I felt were just one dimensional. We ordered the pasta dish that came out in the cheese wheel. I expected so much more for the price but it was just okay. I'd return and try something else but overall was not too impressed. Service was great though

A nice little Italian restaurant featuring fresh homemade pasta. Got the cacio e pepe, and it was delicious. Service was friendly and fast, but we were there in the middle of a Sunday afternoon, when it was not busy at all. Acqua di Mare in Chandler also offers a tableside pasta prepared in a wheel of cheese, and although their option provides a more thorough experience, it is also pricier than the one at American Way Pasta. Both are very flavorful and they both have my seal of approval!Plenty of parking available outside and no wait for a table, but again we were there during non-busy hours.

Nice atmosphere, small venue with nice music playing softly. Not a lot of clatter, and good service. Food was good portion and flavor (well seasoned). Only minor complaint was the shells on the shrimp, why!?

As a new small business to the area, I had a great experience and it was reasonably priced. The decor is trendy, quaint and spacious. They accept Apple Pay at the bar too!We were a group of 10 and possibly a good trial run for their staff. The table ordered-Calamari and shrimp to start - dipping sauce was unexpectedly spicy and oh so good! Then chicken rigatoni with a light creamy mushroom sauceSmoked salmon pasta served with a flavorful lemon sauce, Seafood linguini w/red sauce so good my husband didn't share, & a few bolognese plates. We even shared a birthday Tiramisu! My suggestion is that the Host help the server with checking in with large tables. The server was a little soft spoken and we needed her to be a little louder to get everyone's attention. She was great with getting the orders correct and was very nice. The food was great and welcome the new business to the area!

Ahwatukee needed a restaurant like this! I have been twice now and each time the food, drinks, and service have all been amazing! I ordered the Cacio e Pepe both times because it's that fantastic. Their calamari is also amazing! The grapefruit margarita is so flavorful--after trying a sip of mine, two others in our group ordered the same! I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already! It's quickly becoming our go

They have some kinks to try out being a new business. Went last night with a friend and was underwhelmed by the experience. We sat at the bar to share a bottle of wine while we waited for the table; wine list was very short, only two bottles of red and two bottles of white listed for bottles available. We ordered the Sauvignon Blanc and the bottle that arrived was not the same as what was on the menu, but it was very good. However, when we were charged, we were charged for four glasses of wine individually instead of the bottle, which was odd and I have never seen that done before. It ended up being a cheaper price, but it was just different and not very transparent. While we were having our wine at the bar, the hostess was trying to locate us for our table and could not find us even though we were located 5 feet away from her. She seemed very confused and disorganized and said she would help us close out our tab at the bar, but didn't, she walked away. once that was finally sorted out, we went back up to her and she seemed confused again, but then pointed to our table, and we walked over by ourselves and sat down. There were no nightly specials for dinner, the bread serve served at the table, even though there were bread plates. Side salad was $10 and was OK but the mustard dressing had an overpowering flavor. It took us a very long time to get our food probably 45 minutes, which we understood since they were very busy however, there were multiple tables that arrived after us got drinks ate and left all before we received two pasta dishes. I finally asked the owner if he knew when we would be served. He came back in a couple minutes and said we were the next ticket. My dish was good, but it was lukewarm and my friend's dish was also lukewarm even though she ordered the dish that is finished table side. Our server never came to check on our meal. Then it took a very long time for the check to arrive. I would probably go back with my husband just to give it another shot and because I want to support small local businesses and I hope it was just an off night since they are working out the kinks as a new business. Some suggestions would be serve a piece of bread with the salad if you're not bringing baskets of bread to the table work out the kings at the bar for customers who are waiting for our table. Make sure the food is hot. Make sure tickets don't get lost (Parentheses we are assuming ours was lost temporarily) .
