I am to the point where I am done giving them business. Time after time, they mess up my order (missing items, wrong items). So beware when you order because you may have to repeat yourself multiple times and even then check your bag when you get it. Food is decent.

On June 6th, 2022 at 7:43pm I had the best burrito I've had in my 26.74 years on this earthNow I'll be honest with you the burrito quality here varies from good to great depending on whose back there. That's how you know it's real. But on this fateful night my burrito was truly unreal.I've ran the gauntlet with some recreational drugs in the past but NOTHING compares to the ecstasy that this savory sack of deliciousness gave me. I had to be honest with the girl I was seeing and told her she could never provide for me the way this magic filled, tortilla pillow has. She won't text me back. I don't care. I had the best burrito in the world. Quite possibly the best burrito human hands have ever created. Actually, I'm hard pressed to believe human kind is even capable of rolling such a holy creation. I think some biblically accurate angel channeled itself through The Chosen One, who just so happens to be a cook at Amadas, and breathed the same recipe that created matter, life, and consciousness into my California burrito. Good stuff

I wanted to wrap Amado's in my arms and make this place my baerito but no. Thank u, next.I somehow never noticed this place being here before. Clearly they have been here for a while but he just never caught my eye. It must be one of those, "always a bridesmaid and never the bride" kind of restaurants because it sits right there on the main road in plain sight. But I finally saw him and so I visited him a few days later. We ordered a Five Rolled Tacos Special, an Amado's Breakfast Burrito, and a Shrimp Burrito. I was pretty underwhelmedThe food was okay. The burritos were huge and definitely lasted me two meals but the taste just wasn't there. Everything was pretty bland and under-seasoned all around. That and the fact that we waited 20-minutes for our food was a bit daunting. It seems like they cook for the drive-thru before pick-up/takeout/dine-in orders so you might as well order from the drive-thru. They have a salsa bar here with your basic offerings of one red salsa, one green salsa, some cucumbers, and pico de gallo. Their salsas were mild in flavor and very watery in consistency. All in all, Amado's is an okay place. You definitely won't walk away hungry but this is Arizona. Find yourself a place worthy of being your baerito!

I've had my eye on Amada's for some time now since it seems similar looking to San Diego style tortillas for their burritos. They have a pretty extensive menu which I don't see a california burrito which is mandatory to be San Diego style. Either way, I gave it a shot and went with a Bean and cheese burrito. I'll tell you that the tortilla was pretty close to that fresh San Diego style. Slightly chewy with a nice brown spotting and slightly dry with a light flour texture. Excited to find a place that's similar to those delicious San Diego tortillas. The size of the burrito is solid with plenty of beans and cheese. I felt like the price is about right for size. The green and red hot sauces both bring the heat in their own way. All around solid burrito and looking forward to try out other items

Honestly the food was ok. For all my check-in's it's time to be honest. The salsa bar sits bar the window. Doesn't seem smart in Arizona. Imho The restaurant wasn't all that clean. Or busy, so I didn't get that. The fellow at the counter didn't really want to be there. He wasn't mean, or nice. I discovered Los Fav's so no need to come back to Amados.

This location is right next door to my job & easily accessible. The food quality is delicious & the employees are very accommodating & friendly. I love the Carne Asada Fries & the 5 Rolled Tacos for quick, pick-me-up lunches & will try other items on future visits as well. I recommend Amado's for those gotta-have-it-right-now Mexican food cravings!

absolute rip off!!!!! for what the food cost I expect more than 95% fries to a pinch of meat. THANKS FOR THE FRIES..... We saw it when we got it home and it's too late and guess what no proper management will do anything ever and guess what I would get yelled at in Spanish like my nana used to do and still not understand.
