Alans Beer and Wine

I'm not gonna knock the place too hard, because it technically has what it promises to have (beer and wine). However, it's selection was just a notch above a Circle K and about two notches below Fry's or Walmart. There were a few interesting beer choices, but the wine was all kept on a rack that looked like it was about to tip over. I suppose it's my fault, I was looking for a legit liquor store for some interesting drink choices, and this place was just what it said it would be... beer and wine.So if you aren't picky and need some beer or wine, this is a good place. Just don't expect to discover anything new here.

Not a liquor store. You want beer? They got you. You want wine? The grocery store has a better selection. That's it though, no other alcohol. It's a gas station without the gas, really.

Alan is the standard for customer service. He has set the bar so high for the others that even the long established businesses should take some notes. He has an awesome selection, and his prices are something else the others should take more of. He treats every customer as if they are a VIP. I recommend his place to everyone.

I have been going here for 16+ years. Alan and his team treat all customers like they have known them forever. Outstanding small business.

Excellent customer service from store manager/owner. Visiting from out of town and purchased a keg, the keg had an issue, and beer was bad. Store took care of us. Highly recommend, we will visit again.

I live in Chicago but visit family who lives pretty close to Alans. I cannot find Amstel Light beer anywhere in the East Valley or anywhere nearby so I asked one of the guys who works there and I believe his name is Brantley. He was very attentive, kind and super willing to help me so he wrote it down for Alan and I had my Amstel's in like 2 days.I would also like to add that Alan himself is just a down to earth super nice guy. He also cares about the less fortunate in the area. I highly recommend this store for beer, wine, snacks and other groceries. I love going in here when I am in Arizona.

I stopped by this place twice and both times had a bad experience. First time they wanted to charge me a fee (greater than the cost of the ice) to use my debit card. Second time, when I entered the store a a young female clerk behind the counter, was yelling (not at me, but it was very loud and disturbing, as I had no idea what was going on, and it gave the impression something bad was happening.) I stopped to look for individual bottles of alcohol (not realizing they don't have alcohol, just beer and wine). When I couldn't find them, I approached the counter, where I saw some bin holding small bottles. I asked the older lady who was closest to me if any of them were rum, she said no they weren't normal proof, as they don't have a liquor license. I responded with, okay, and made a gesture jokingly, that I wanted the booze, the started to to say thank you and exit the store, when the other clerk,that was yelling earlier, said "that was f'n rude." Not sure how a customer leaving to get the items specifically needed is rude, so yeah this was a bad experience. It's a disappointment little local stores like this have such poor customer service. Sure there are few repeat customers with this kind of behavior.

This is a great business. I go in here all the time for my vapes and the occasional blunt wrap and these folks are extremely kind. They always recognize me and every single one of their staff can strike up a great conversation out of nothing. I greatly appreciate this store and everyone who works in it, I often find myself driving out of the way just to stop here for my vices rather than anywhere else. Thank you guys! Keep it up because I know it can be hard to smile at customers after a long shift :)

I wish I could give Alan's a million stars. THATS MY DUDE! Best customer service I've ever received from any store ever. I've been coming to Alan's for years since I live down the street. Wide variety of items. Beer, Wine, Tobacco, Food, Snacks, Drinks, etc. If he doesn't have it ask about it and he will try his best to get it into the store just for you! Every time I go in there we strike a convo and I never leave without getting a couple laughs in with Alan and never leave unsatisfied. All the employees there are great. David, Brandon and even Alan's parents! All good and genuine people. Love this place.

Alan & his parents are great. Alan knows SO many people and every time I go in he greets me and every other customer at this popular location by name.
