Mercurys Coffee

Mercurys is hands down the best coffee in town. We usually go to the drive thru Mercurys in Redmond, but sometimes visit this particular location. The girl ("H") who made my drink made me a sugar version instead of the sugar free version that I ordered. When I checked to make sure it was sugar free, I was told "well our Breve isn't sugar free"....lol. I responded with "yes I know that. I just don't want the syrup full of sugar". She remade my drink but with a pretty bad attitude. When she slid it across the counter to me, I said thank you and she said nothing and didn't even look up. Perhaps if you read what the order said instead of chatting with your co-workers, you would have seen that I in fact did order a sugar free vanilla breve. Not my fault. This is not our usual experience with any Mercurys Coffee. Usually it's a 5 star experience across the board, but the attitude was a bit too much this time.

How I heard of this place: A long-time friend and fellow foodie suggested it for the only place to serve coffee "this good outside of Italy". With a recommendation like that, we had to make our way in.Type of cuisine: Espresso and energy beverages plus a small selection of pastries.Ambiance: Minimalist, sleek and modern with an emphasis placed on the bar, which took up one-third of the space, only a few tables and seating for those, and much space to stand/mill around. Mirrors covering the far wall as you enter give the air of a larger space. What I ordered: Quad-shot latte (made with their Rising roast) and two raw sugars, one strawberry danish and one lemon-blackberry scone.What I loved: The espresso. It was perfectly prepared, the milk perfectly frothed for sweetness and a thin layer of delicate, glossy foam atop. The pastries tasted stale and lacked the flavor and tasty treat satisfaction we had hoped. Why I loved it: The espresso - while not true Italian caliber - was wonderful, smooth, and balanced. The young woman serving us was friendly and gracious. The pastries, however, took the experience down a notch.Cost: Average to high.

Loved the tea and coffee! Small little shop, but they're all over the place. First time having the Bees Nees Iced Tea Latte and it was delicious! Needed a little pick-me-up and it did the job. Originally ordered the 16oz, but got the 12oz because my friend mistakenly took mine. Well, saved me on the calories lol. The next day, I came for The Bees Nees coffee......OH EM GEEE! It was not even coffee! It was very very very good and kept me going that morning. Too bad it's only in Washington. I will savor the taste and moment forever.

THEY HAVE NITRO COLD BREW. Better then Starbucks. WARNING: The parking here is hard to access or find a spot some times but the coffee /tea and pastries are worth it. They also have sandwiches and salads that are good. My fav treat is the cut of cinnamon bun they offer. It usually lasts me three days. Staff is always so sweet and kind. They do offer drip coffee all day, which I really love. Not most place do. Good selection of teas as well. A pretty decent dine in area and kept clean. They also have outdoor patio seating, for those sunny days.

My favorite place to grab coffee on the eastside. I love the Hawaiian Blonde (less sweet) or a vanilla latte. This location is always busy but the employees are nice. The sandwiches and pastries are also delicious as well. I highly recommend stopping by any of their locations if you're in the area!

The staff is awesome. They are always polite. The coffee is yummy and it's open late enough for me to stop by before work .

I come to this location for the large variety of food and pastries, in addition to their regular drink menu. Typically the service is quick, friendly and helpful. It's also less crowded than the flagship store so they seem to be more attentive. My daughter ordered a coffee-free caramel silk, and my husband got an americano with white chocolate. I ordered an almond chocolate croissant, warmed up of course. Drinks were tasty and fast! Croissant was very crispy and full of sweet chocolate and almonds.

ANYTIME I'm close to Mercurys while working I make an offer to my offices a treat from Mercurys; and I'm always taken up on the offer.This location although tiny, offers spectacular customer service the team members worked very well together preparing orders.Be mindful that the parking are only the assigned spots on the left as you turn into the plaza. No matter the season, or time of day it's always a great time Mercury's Coffee; I highly recommend this location!!

This is my FAVORITE coffee store /restaurant to go grab my latte and some bite. I seriously can't drink any other coffee but Mercury's. I love the everything about this place starting from the coffee and milk choice to the food and sweet options. I probably trying most of the food they have available there and I can't really decide what is my favorite. If you like quiche, it is the right place to go. The majority of the food, including the quiche is made with Beecher's Handmade Cheese and it is a killer!!!Below are the pros and cons from this place.
