I am sooooo disappointed. i bought some meat to take out of town to cook. as I'm throwing it on the grill we found a piece of a towel in our bag!!! so I'm 20 minutes away from the city and now have to find something for dinner!also tried their flan prior to this, the flan tasted burnt or old :x i realized there's no date of when it was made or expires.

When I travel to Arizona I always bring home the Carne Asada form this market. You can head to the butchers counter and select your cut of meat. I always get the ribeye marinated. They sell a wide range of veggies, cheeses, fresh salsa, pico de gallo, cremas, tomatillos and on and in. I always go crazy with the fresh assortment of everything I love and hard to find back home. They even have fresh tortillas!

Happy to have found you. This store is great for produce and other spices or seasonings you may need for Hispanic or Latin cuisine. I came in for some cheese for my tacos and left with some chicken and green salsa. Let's just say everything was good. The salsa had flavor and was not spicy at all. The chicken was pre-seasoned and came ready to cook. Of course, I added a few things to the chicken but honestly I am sure I didn't have to add anything except toppings. Being affordable and easy to access. I will be sooner than later. All meat and produce are reasonably priced! The young ladies in the store were very helpful.

This is the best place for meat! The salsas, guacamole, and pico are always delicious. I have been going here for years they used to be in the little strip mall and now that they moved they got even better! The guys in the back are always helpful.

So...I was craving some carne asada tacos like nobodies business, and decided to stop by here (close to work) to get some goods so I could make some at home. I went with a 2/3lb piece of carne asada, some flour tortillas and a thing of pico de gallo. Total was just over $11.00. The carne asada was BOMB! I had the guy marinate it for me, and let it sit in the fridge at work for a few hours. By the time I got home, it was all nice and cozy sitting in the marinade! I threw it on the grill for a few minutes, and it cooked up perfect. I chopped it up into pieces and made my tacos. Great carne asada! Some of, if not, THE best carne asada I have ever purchased from a Mexican grocery. $8.99 a lb and worth every cent! The pico de gallo was as fresh as can be, and reasonably priced, too. Lastly, the tortillas...... They had an 18 pack of street taco sized flour tortillas for just over $2.00. You could tell by just looking at them they were going to be great. I threw them on the grill for a minute and they charred up perfect and tasted absolutely delicious! Chewy and hot and full of flavor! The meat man and cashier were friendly. I will definitely be back, much sooner than later! This shit was bomb!

I like this store I really do. But it's a little pricey, more than I'm used to paying for ranchera meat, it was $40 for just 3 pounds! Whhhhhattttt?! I miss shopping for my Mexican products in ELA I guess

Looking for a local carnicería is not easy to find in north Phoenix, but this is not too far from my neighborhood! They are actually moving down the street in December. Once you come inside you feel like you are in Mexico with all the Mexican products to choose from! Today my mission was to purchase some carne asada to grill up! Oh yes was I successful in my journey. I picked up some marinated, freshly cut strips of carne asada meat. Cooked up great on the grill within minutes! The flavors were out of this world. It did have that authenticity that I was looking for! Awesome way to enjoy some Monday night football! Cheers

We've loved the fresh made food in Cocina like carne asada, chicharon, etc. they have a great selection for a small market. I'd give it 5 stars based on that, however we were Not crazy about the clerk there this weekend. My mom asked for help, she went to help, then a woman at the counter called to her to ring her up and the clerk just left my mom without a word to help this impatient customer. Ride in both hee part and the customers lady. We asked for her assistance later during our visit and she didn't even acknowledge us.
