Love their #Menudo but instead of Rojo I tried Blanco. It was tasty and I enjoyed it but I prefer Rojo, The #SopesPollo was excellent #TacoDeBirria I prefer crispier but it was good too, At the salsa bar they had all the fixings for menudo but they should have a better container for the salsas. Cardboard doesn't hold liquid well. You do pay extra for chips and we ended lunch with delicious flan for dessert. We did come at the lunch hour so we had a bit of a wait. Once seated service was very nice and prompt for a table of 10. Will always come back for menudo blanco. I love having hominy in mine

If you love posole then this is the place to go when your down south. Growing up in Hawaii we were not quite exposed to a lot of Mexican food. My first experience trying posole was as at a potluck at work. I loved the warm soup and the delicious flavors. From then on I have loved posoleMy go to here is the green chicken posole. My husband likes the red posole. I always ask for extra tostada. We enjoy that they have a condiment bar and you can get your own onion, cabbage, cilantro, and lime. You basically can customize your posole.Their horchata and Jamaica are delicious. It's not a very large location. The weekdays can be pretty crowded and the weekends are very busy. You can be waiting for 1-2hrs on a weekend if you have a party of 6 or more. But to my family and I it is worth the wait. The staff are attentive and quick to take your order when you're ready. I will admit though that ordering to go/pick up is not that great. I think we got use to the condiment bar that we are usually not satisfied with the amount of condiments provided when we order to go.Would highly recommend dining in. There of course are other items on the menu but for the most part we have only gone for the posole

Visited on a Saturday mid-day. You get a buzzer to wait if tables aren't available. Waited for about 15-20 mins. Ordered the red menu and the huevos con chorizo. The menudo was delicious! Soul satisfying. You can taste the quality of the tripe. And the richness of the soup. The pata and tendons were cooked perfectly. Husband ordered the huevos con chorizo. He ate his entire serving. Loved it! Definitely the spot for good quality menudo, good service and an overall good experience.

I have no credibility in saying what is authentic or not but this place truly was one of the two best places that I've had Pozole and Menudo. The only thing missing is the whole dried peppers but besides that, I love the food. Place gets pretty busy and can get loud but service is really good. The ladies are so sweet and I love the open cart with the toppings. The tables and seats can use an upgrade but the food makes up for it. Already drooling about the next time I can return.

30 min wait on a Sunday morning, not bad. Super packed spot, then it must be good. This location offers not just menudo but pozole, birria enchiladas and more. I was impressed because well I'm not a huge fan of menudo. I really wanted pozole but seeing the birria on the menu I was in a pickle. So I went with pozole rojo, and a quesabirria (which I devoured so no pic) couldn't just take one bite. Good portion on the caldo wish I knew the large and a small price difference is only less than $1 because then I would would've gotten a large. So parking sucks. There's some behind but only 3 spots, if not street parking. Check in, inside they give you a pager. I mean I'm def hooked and I'll glad I found it.

Favorite Menudo in San Diego! All of them are great but Red with pork feet our FAVORITE! The broth's flavor is delicious & the meat is always cooked to perfection. We've also tried the pozole & it's just as tasty, either one red or white are delicious! We've also tried other dishes, weather it's machaca, nopales con huevo or birria it's all just as tasty. The service is always a 10 out of 10, the only down side is the wait to get seated on the weekends BUT it's always worth the wait! The ambiance is good, it can get a little noisy at times but it just feels like a large family gathering because everyone is enjoying an Amazing Meal!
