Yellowtail Ramen & Aburi

After voting today we drove down to Clarksville, Tennessee for sushi. I have to say Yellowtail did not disappoint. They were quite busy but the service was great. It seems a lot of servicemen and women eat there.. we have a 22 piece platter and it was not only fresh and tasty but was beautifully arranged. There was 2 large Tv that were turned to the News but it was not distracting. It's also very informal with excellent presentations. I also had the Salmon skin roll and Caterpillar roll. The salmon skin was very crispy and well seasoned and the Caterpillar-was topped with creamy avocado. Nice quiet place for lunch or dinner.

I've been here twice and am really confused about the most recent ratings/reviews! One of my girlfriends and I stopped in on a Saturday between 6 and 6:30pm. I was worried they were going to be packed, but, much to my surprise, we walked in and were seated with menus right away. Our table/booth was extremely clean, and the atmosphere was great. The lighting was dim, making it a more intimate setting - perfect for a date night, if that's what you're looking for. It was also fairly family-friendly, though! We saw a couple of families at booths, especially with younger children or babies. Our waitress was very attentive and brought us drinks and our appetizer right away. We ordered gyoza, which was great! These were fried, and I think I've only ever gotten them steamed at various restaurants, so it was a nice change of pace! The sauce was good and, I think, had green onions and ginger in it.I can't speak on the sangria, as I did not have any because I'm pregnant, but my friend said her drink was strong and tasted great.It took us forever to decide on our sushi order, as their menu is fairly extensive, but we ended up sharing three rolls - the Crunch Munch, Volcano, and Big Mouth. I'm partial to spicy tuna, so the Big Mouth was my favorite, followed by the Crunch Munch, then the Volcano. Honestly, I would probably order all three again, but I'd love to come back to try something new. I can not speak for the rest of the food here, but the sushi hits the spot. Our bill was roughly $60, so it wasn't super cheap, but not bad for 2 people. I'll be back!

Service and Ambiance were pleasing but the quality of the food was amazing. One of the best Sushi places we have eaten at. The summer roll was melt in your mouth delicious

After 10 years of eating sushi in DC, I did not expect to have one of my favorite meals in Tennesse- but Yellowtail did not disappoint! Staff were friendly from start to finish-providing swift service and great recommendations. Seaweed salad was fresh and delightful. Sushi rolls were out of this world! Chuck Norris roll was a fun spin (served with a plate on fire)! Rock n' Roll roll was a lighter balance. Definitely worth a stop (or several)!

Best service I've had in a while. Our server took lots of time to explain the menu, the recommendations, and see what we were looking for. 4 rolls were more than enough for 2 people. The dumpling appetizer was really small. It would hardly touch your stomach if you were actually hungry. All the rolls were amazing!!! Fresh, well prepared, creative, and yummy!! Highly recommending if you are in the area and hankering sushi--check it out!!

AMAZING!! If you've never been to one, check it out, but this specific one was awesome. The interior decor, the staff, service, menu, food, prices, everything was perfect. Today was this locations grand opening so they didn't have their liquor license .... yet. Should be in two weeks.Our waitress, Rachel, was extremely friendly, helpful with recommendations and timely checking in on us and with refills. We briefly spoke with the manager to request a channel change on one of the tvs and he did it right away. The food.... on man, the food was better than expected! All positives, not a negative to be had. We will be back, highly recommend, you're crazy if you pass over the chance to come here!!

Do as I say not as I do. We went about 20 minutes before lunch service closing and the servers were gracious enough to seat us and not rush. So unfair of us, but they passed and so did the food! I had the Chirashi with all kinds of hidden jewels. Who puts fresh octopus in the chirashi?...they do! Delicious. The fish tasted fresh the rice outstanding and the roe on top was a wonderful hidden surprise.Husband had the chicken udon. Couldn't get a picture because I was too busy eating to get a picture for posting. But suffice it to say it was also beautifully presented. This restaurant has been added to our favorites spot and we will be returning. Thank you staff for a delicious dining experience.

10/10 first time there, great service, great food what more could you need Would highly recommend getting the mozzarella roll so delicious

It's nice place but lighting is terrible and so is the price. Their food is hella basic for its price Servers are kinda nice it's a hit or miss.4/10
