Yellowfin Sushi & Hibachi Grill

I was at training nearby and was craving some sushi. Luckily this place was within minutes of our training area so a few of us got some stuff. It looks pretty awesome inside but we weren't able to eat in here. I think I saw a hibachi area in the back, which would be fun to visit sometime. We got some sushi to go as well as some fried rice. The chicken fried rice by itself is not very good but once you add whatever sauces you like (for me, sweet and sour and sriracha, for my friend, yum yum sauce) it tastes better. The sushi was, as always, hit and miss. My friend's stuff ended up not being as good as mine. I saw a few more things that interested me though. They also have crepes here, which is a fantastically unique menu item. I def plan to try them. Since I'm sure I'll end up at more training near here I will definitely return! I don't do this hardly ever. But I am so tired of paying good money for food that is below sub par. The food was cold when it came out. I got the filet and shrimp. Both were so chewy you could barely eat it and the rice wasn't even good. And that's the one thing u can typically count on being good. My son said the same thing about his.

I only recommend coming here during lunch. The lunch specials are at a much better price for the quality of food you will receive. The servers are typically nice and attentive during lunch. I have had bad experiences at dinner time with service. It is the only Japanese restaurant in town, so it will do in a pinch. The restaurant is clean, but hasn't been updated since it first opened as Kyoto 10+ years ago.

This place is disgusting!! Save your money!!Raw chicken, smelly shrimp and soggie veggies. AWFUL

The service is usually pretty slow, but the food is great and the employees are always very nice! Their early bird special is great.

Tasty rolls, gyoza and miso soup. No gluten free soy sauce but I just ask for a squeeze of lemon to add a little flavor. They do have yum yum sauce.

Worst service I have ever seen in a restaurant!!! So rude!!!! They seated another party in our place. When we finally got seated we NEVER had anyone acknowledge us after 30 minutes!!!!! We finally left without even getting water!!!! Don't go here ever!!!!

horrible first experience.. spent over $50 dollars for barley any food .. we will never be back!( the picture below was $23 hibachi meal and this is what we got .) plus not even the right amount of sushi we ordered . Called and all they could offer was 10% off the next order . Never again

The Service was Excellent, and The Food was Amazing I recommend this place, and their Takoyaki (Dragon Balls) Are incredible The Young Lady who Served us Isabelle was a wonderful server and just a genuine person I will be coming back. Thankful for a good night out

Jesus Christ. Brings me the check 3 minutes into me receiving my food.. checks back too often to process even though I hadn't finished. I understand your shift may be over, but I don't want to touch your disgusting communal pen while I eat.
