Good is mediocre. Shrimp tempura is from a frozen package. Rice on California roll was skimpy. No wasabi. Based on what we had we would not return.

OK first off, this is a Chinese restaurant masquerading as a Japanese Steakhouse. Based on my one experience its a miserable failure at whatever it is they're trying to accomplish. As I'm writing this, its with anxiety of having eaten raw scallops and the worst sushi I've ever had in my life. I ordered the spicy tuna, I knew it would be bad because I was told it "already has mayonnaise mixed in." And since all their supplies comes from Sisco, I'm guessing they get a big bag of tuna mush to make these things with. No consistency, no tuna flavor to speak of, I left 4 of those on my plate. The big problem came with the Steak and Scallops combo. The scallops were completely raw, they had no color and I don't believe spent more than 5 seconds on the grill, sent those back along with what they call "fried rice." Yeah, its fried rice like you get at a Chinese takeout joint as a side, that ain't fried rice. I could hear 4-5 people cussing me out about that complaint. Anyway, the scallops came back out on a refire, they were still raw. Someone else at the table said they'd give it a go, took a bite, tried to chew it and gave up then reissued the thing to his plate. They were terrible. By now I just wanted out of this hellhole. Can't say I wasn't warned, these Yamatos have sprung up all over Middle Tennessee and they all have similarly bad reviews. Too bad, Lewisburg needs more variety but I wouldn't come looking for it here.

First impression is an average sit down Asian food restaurant. Sushi and Hibachi are both on the menu, along with gyoza and miso soup. If that is what you are looking for the food is decent enough. The problem I have with this establishment is not the food or the atmosphere. I have been here with my Wife on no less than 5 different occasions in the past year. ( I simply NEED sushi sometimes ) On EVERY SINGLE OCCASION, my Wife and I get our food at least 10 minutes apart. At first, this was an annoyance that I simply thought was oversight by the service. After making my displeasure known in the gentlest of ways, I vowed never to return. We have been twice dense then. As I said, I NEED sushi. On the last occasion we both decided to order sushi. Thinking that this would solve the problem. Usually my Wife would order Hibachi whilst I order sushi. The server managed to bring out my Wife's three rolls a full 15 minutes before bringing out the rolls I ordered for myself.Simply put, I would give this place 4-5* but I cannot overlook the fact that either my Wife or I have to watch the other person eat before getting our meal. This is NOT a place to take a date. All that being said, the food is average Asian food. You can sit and enjoy a meal prepared with care. Just do not bring someone you intend to eat WITH.

We had just got done absolutely putting a hurting on at Saddle Creek golf course. So naturally, the boys were hungry from chasing pars and whiskey all day. Ordered a round of Lewisburg roll, and surprisingly, didn't know the Asian culture was so prominent in Lewisburg, Tn. Nonetheless, it was bussin'. Along with the miso soup. Heads up, use the spoon, don't drink from the bowl (hot!). Overall, compared to scoring a supper at the Shell station across the street, it was pretty solid! Next time I'm eating to kill a slight buzz from the course, this is the place I'll come to!

Far below average! After living in Chapel Hill for 6 years, my wife and I finally tried it. Definitely a one and done kind of place. I had filet and scallop hibachi, the scallops were freezer burnt terribly. The veggies definitely tasted freezer burnt as well, the fried rice was more like fried lice. And that's after getting two orders due to the first fillet simply tasting like blood. Did not taste like beef, the replacement was just as bad. There was no continuity with the fried rice. The two servings I had had totally different flavors from each other and the serving my wife had. Like I said, definitely a one and done. All right let's
