Delicious food amazing staff but two ladies were looking at me while eating but I thought it was funny and I love the cozy ambiance

I went here the other night and had the shrimp and scallop hibachi combo. It was decent and had seasoned vegetables so I decided to return the following night for the salmon hibachi which ended up being overcooked and dry. The shrimp tempura was actually really good and came with fried broccoli and sweet potato. There isn't much in the area so if you're looking for real food instead of fast food I guess this place is okay

The Yamato is a small and quaint steakhouse and sushi bar. Their specialty seems to be their "yakitori," which are thinly-sliced sirloin beef tips. It's very good and appears paired with several other items on their menu. My date chose a shrimp and seafood dinner and it also was well-prepared and tasty.Several reviews say that their service is typically slow, but we had no problems with their speed. Granted, there were only three other couples in the restaurant, but the service was lightning fast. If anything, it was too fast, as the salad, soup, sushi and entrees all arrived within a couple minutes of each other.The decor was dated and not particularly exciting, but the wait-staff were kind and attentive. Our Asian waitress had a very thick accent, but was patient with us as we struggled to understand her. We bridged the communication gap just fine.It's a good place. Check it out.

I love their salad with the YumYum sauce and their Hibachi Chicken and Rice! Oh great...now I want Hibachi Chicken and Rice!

Rhey already open for dining in, went today to get me spring rolls to go and I thought they're still close for dining in, but they are open.

Great food, I love sushi and this is the closest place I can go being in Lawrenceburg. Is this restaurant still open?

Love the hibachi dinners here! They are so good! But be prepared.... They are slow and it will take a while for you to get your food, even if you call ahead. If you don't mind waiting, the food is delicious though!

If you order to go food no matter how long they tell you they don't start cooking it until you get there to pick it up that's not the point of ordering something to go?!?!?! And then it's rushed mushrooms or onions aren't cooked at all. Service is so slow if it was any slower they would be walking around with shells on there backs (turtles) I'm done with this place I use to eat here all the time I won't be back

Food very bland- onion soup tasted like Ramon nuddle soup / lunch box was just "no tasty". I kept hoping for something good - and tasty- just did not happen....I would Definitely pass on this one.

Wait time is never correct or as suggested. Waited well over 40 minutes for food and still not the vegetables were not cooked. Vegetables uncooked and no flavor with bland rice. Called to get fixed and owner states must bring back to store for a refund. Gas prices as high as they are and restaurants not getting food orders correct! Horrible management and owners!! Will never eat here again!
