Xing Dynasty

I didn't know this place existed until a friend mentioned it to me. We have been twice now. The restaurant is on the main road to Lynchburg and easily accessible. You'll find the interior about the same as any other Chinese take out. There was no line, and the service was instant both times. Their food is made to order, and is served hot and fresh. We've tried 4 different menu items on our 2 visits, all it's all been excellent. It's definitely a place we will continue to use

Been going here for years and I love it. The best items are the almond chicken and chicken with hot peppers and peanuts. The almond chicken is breasts that are battered and crispy and come with a brown gravy and rice. Hot peppers and peanut chicken is slightly spicy and comes with diced chicken, carrots, celery and peanuts and rice.We've both eaten in and picked up for take out. Drinks are easy and usually in a cooler by the door. Staff is super nice and friendly and they almost always remember our regular order. Lived and traveled all over the US and overseas and I have to say, this is a great Chinese restaurant.

When you pull into town and you have two choices of food this one will work. Good portion sizes good flavor quick delivery. Don't know if I would've picked it if I had lot of choices but glad we did.

I wouldn't give the buffet high marks, but when you order off the menu, the food is great. The egg rolls and hot & sour soup are some of the best I've ever had. I love this place for carry out.

Xing Dynasty is really good. I've been here many times and it's always delicious. I've never got to experience the small buffet they have though. I think it's only for lunch. But the ladies that work (maybe own the place) here, are very hard workers. You can tell that just by watching while waiting on your food.

Tonight was my second time eating here. Both were take-out. I ordered the curry chicken and it was quite tasty with loads of chicken. Also ordered the pork lo mien. It was pretty good. The crab Rangoon was excellent and so were the pan fried dumplings. I like the fact that I had a perfect view of the entire preparation of my food from the counter. Will definitely be back.

Staff is very friendly, first and foremost. The food however wasn't that great. I had the lunch buffet. The food was very fresh, but lacked in flavor. It all seemed seasoned or cooked with the same bland flavor and eventually everything started tasting the same if that makes sense. The hot and spicy chicken was probably the best item on the buffet along with the toasted pork. If i went back I would probably order something directly off the menu and try that.

Pretty damn good Chinese food and I don't really like Chinese food. My wife got me some of that O range chichen and by golly geeze it was good!

I ordered on line to prevent miscommunication with staff when ordering. When my order was received it was NOT what I ordered. I called the restaurant to have them replace the order and the woman would not listen and then laughed when the cook told her he messed up. She was very unprofessional and refused to make the correct order. Will not be returning.

Prior to our tour of Jack Daniels, we were hungry for Chinese food. It's the only place of its kind near the distillery. Atmosphere was not very welcoming. Food was very average.
