WKND Hang Suite

Come for the VIBES, not for the FOOD (because you might not get any)!This review is strictly about their Sunday Unlimited Brunch.We had reservations for a party and were attended to and sat as our party arrived (minimum # of ppl must be there to be sat). The server explained how the menu goes for unlimited brunch and asked for our mimosas order which is also unlimited. The music was on point and the drinks started to flow as we waited for our food....good vibes!! After about 5 mimosas and more people arriving for our party and also ordering, we drank, turned up to the music and waited...and waited....and waited....and waited!!! Literally 10 mimosas and 3 hours later, WE STILL HAD NOT ATE!! Our seating had "expired" (you get 2-3 hours) but we had not eaten! A party of 12 and only about 4 pancakes and 3 waffles had come to our table! After around the 5 hour mark and the mimosas running out, ppl started leaving without getting food. The server was cool, I think they did their best, but there is NO WAY EVER I would want to go here again for Sunday Brunch! They need probably 2-3 more SOLID kitchen staff because 5 hours waiting for food while full of drinks is crazy! The worst part: when a few of us waited for to-go plates and took the food with us, it was actually good!! I honestly think we were there for 6 hours total. How could something be good and yet SOOOOOO BAD.?.?.

We finally decided to step outside the Peabody Hotel & ended up here. No cover charge at the time we arrived, which was around 8P on a Friday night. It's mostly a 25-30ish crowd, yet saw some seasoned heads throughout. The female DJ did a great job playing a mix of early 90's R&B up until 10pm where the music switched for the younger ears. Friendly Bouncers at your service, well kept restrooms, helpful servers regardless who had which table. Bar food & light fare is offered. The Miami Beach decor of white leather couches/chairs, pink & purple neon lights with silver furniture makes the WKND a hotspot for all ages to enjoy.

Attended an event here. Had a really great time. The staff and bartender were very friendly and fast considering it was one bartender. The layout is cute and fits a lounge theme. Parking was a minor headache but made it work. Overall good experience.

A friend of min who was in town wanted to hang out before leaving. Since this is a fairly new spot in town, we decided to go here for Happy Hour. Now, I don't want you to be blindsided by the fact that their Specials change each hour. At 5pm you get $1 drinks, 6pm you get $2 drinks, then at 7pm drinks are $3. They also have specific prices for food and a hookah. I had the Lobster and Buffalo Chicken Flat Bread. They both were delicious. My favorite was the Buffalo Chicken. The bread was really crisp, the meat was seasoned well and the other ingredients complemented the chicken and sauce well. The Lobster Flatbread was ok, but the bread was a bit soggy. The overall taste was good. I had the "Hennyrita" for my drink. It was ok. A little too watered down for the price. Thank god it was half off. However, I did Presecco. Overall, it is a nice place. The patio is cool. They only have two single stall restrooms, which is not feasible for the size crowd that they anticipate. The waitress that served us that night as attentive and checked on us several times.

My husband and I had tons of fun at the WKND Hang Suite during Memphis in May weekend- during our visit we enjoyed listening to music, sipping wine, pizza and the tastiest chicken wings ever! If you're in town visiting and you want to have a really good time add this stop to your list of places to visit. You'll happy that you did:))

The food was delicious, the staff( women waitresses) were rude af. We waited 30 min for anyone to greer us, then when she finally came over she had a horrible attitude. The atmosphere is nice, patio had open seating the inside was by reservation only. The dj played a good variety of new ans old school r&b and hip hop.

hands down....the worst restaurant i have ever been to in terms of service, cleanliness, food, price, Etc. all the things......and to be honest i don't even have the energy to vent about how bad our experience was but do not waste time or money here. waitress was sitting on her phone the entire time and did not ask us if we wanted to order for at least 45 min of us being there. they have waffles of the week on their menu and she had no idea that was a thing, nor did they have a waffle of the week. it is not what they portray this place to be!!

WKND Hang Suite is a lounge that plays hip hop and caters to a party crowd. I arrived on a Saturday night around 1030. There was a cover charge, and limited seating if you don't buy a table. The lounge also has hookah and a side room for private groups or just more table seating. The music was hit or miss before midnight which is to be expected while the crowd fills up. The lounge is well decorated and definitely one of the few nicer lounges in Memphis. It does get crowded so try and get there early!

I am giving this rating because, for the first time, I was not impressed with the service. First of all, the place is small, and we couldn't sit down until six people arrived. As a result, we arrived at around one and didn't leave until four or five because it took so long for our food to arrive, and the birthday girl didn't have a chance to get her food either. To be honest, everything was not worth the price we paid, and I will not be returning.

Our section was literally in the kitchen...cut off from the main floor. Have to wait in line even though you have a reservation!Just make sure that you request your section to be on the main floor to really have a good time.
