Like eating in the kitchen with family! The grill is just opposite of the diner style counter so the chef can begin to prepare your meal when you place your order. I had two eggs over medium with crispy bacon and toast. Coffee is brewing and sodas are available in a can or bottle. When the locals stop in they are encouraged by the owner to say hello to the guests. Oh my goodness we went for breakfast a couple of days ago and I ordered scrambled eggs, country ham and toast. It really was awful. The eggs were scrambled so hard that that they had brown areas on them. The toast had no butter and I had to ask for butter and the country ham was so thin and so highly salted. I tried to add some ketchup to the ham to cut the salt but it didn't work. I should have asked for a warm cup of water maybe so that I could get the salt off. I couldn't cut the ham with a fork. Asked for a knife. It was a sharp knife and I still couldn't cut it. The folks working there were nice enough but the food was awful.

Best cereal/slug burgers in town. Fresh cooked, nice sized patties. Good fries also...

I come in here daily, ordering both breakfast and lunch items. Great prices and fantastic service.
