Windy City Grille

The Wife and I were In Hernando taking care of some business. We decided to grab lunch at Windy City Grill. The last time we went here was during Covid. It was decent, but I knew it would be much better once Covid was over. I was right! I got the Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza. It was very good. I cant belive Im saying this, but it almost could have had a little less cheese. The crust was thin and crisp. Just the way I like it. My wife decided to try the Chicken and Mushroom Pasta. It was also very good.... As an appetizer we decided on the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. With toasted bread. I was very impressed. It was cooked to perfection. The inside was very clean and the atmosphere was nice. I will definitely come back sooner than three years. I want to try the sandwiches. I watched several come out that looked amazing! If your looking for something quick, tasty, and reasonably priced. Give them a try!

Windy City Grille is in the downtown Hernando, Mississippi area and is a cool place with a definite small-town feel and a friendly overall vibe.Both the staff and the patrons had a friendly and jovial aura to them and overall, this place had a great feel to it.

If you're looking for a casual drink, this is a good place to go in Hernando. It's right of the square. Not a lot of outdoor seating. The food is nothing special, typical bar stuff. Wait staff is always nice.

Nice hometown dining spot, it has the "everyone knows everyone", feel to it, seating is intimate, lighting is just bright enough to see and not too bright to not be romantic. Menu options are a bit scattered and there is only one burger on the menu, which I found to be very odd, however I ordered it and it was amazing. Perfectly grilled, Kaiser bun and just common old school topping, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Their fried fish is the best in Hernando, and I mean amazing. Weather it's a lazy Saturday afternoon or a hot Friday night, you can't go wrong grabbing some authentic southern food, hot of the grill.

Went to our local place for catfish , but no one ordered it. I was craving hot wings so I ordered the crazy hot wings. They were crispy, and HOT! I loved the sliced jalapeños too. Good size portion! Domestic bottled beer only $1.75!

Great meats pizza and Caesar salad. I got the medium pizza. Loved the crust and sauce. Had extra to take home. Had a veggie chowder cup of soup on another occasion. Diet Coke for diet options. Neat NY/Chicago pizzeria vibe. Dark in the bar area. Lots of TV's to watch sports in the bar area. Main dinning room has more light. Main dinning recommended for a date.Service depends on the server. Friendly and attentive. Good food!

This is the chicken and mushroom pasta.It is very creamy hot and good. The noodles are cooked to perfection. The sauce complements the tomatoes. It's just overall great. I would definitely come back and visit when I'm back in Hernando.

Service was great and food was yummy! Everyone was very nice. The mozzarella sticks and the onion rings were great appetizers. We also got the Greek pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza, great choices!

The place to be in Hernando. Come out to be seen, to enjoy food, and to meet the amazing people of Hernando at a very reasonable price for the serving portion. Please remember to tip the staff as it gets so busy and they work like mad to keep up with us all.
