Wimpy's

Absolutely love this place. The decor is all Wimpy. Mr Shelton spent a lot of time rehabbing this old mainstay. He did a great job. We have hosted team parties here and eat here when we are in need of a true hamburger. Looks like I get the same thing every time I post. The classic burger is just so good. The pickles are amazing and the thick slice of tomato and then the thin sliced red onion. Amazing. The onion rings are good also. Service is always great and parking is right out front. We lost Mr Shelton but the restaurant lives on and we are so glad. Awesome locally owned and operated family business.

SCRC 000 Memphis, took a Saturday ride to Greenfield, Tn. just to eat here. Well that and riding motorcycles is a great way to spend your day. This place is great. The outside looks inviting. Our server was friendly and kept my iced sweet tea from being an empty glass. I had the Jr Wimpy burger & fries. Delicious and very filling. It's a half pounder. Highly recommend this place.

Great atmosphere...super clean...friendly servers. Burger was very good...only wish the fries and onion rings were fresh instead of frozen. That would push this to a five star experience.

Well worth it. Will be going back many times. It was my first time and I wasn't so sure given I've been disappointed before by burger joints. Well this one took me by surprise!!!!! The staff were great!! Super helpful very polite, and had plenty of respect. The food came out in credible and timely fashion. The flavor was amazing, I love the taste of a good burger patty and this place definitely came in clutch!!!! The portions were there for sure too!!!! I can't wait to go back.

Great place to eat they have a 1 pound Wimpy burger. They also have a pound hamburger steak. They are very friendly.

They are all so friendly and kind . They have great food ,Just good old home folks that enjoy their customers. I have known them a long time I had business in town for years.

Out for a day of geocaching and decided to stop in to see what this place offered. Due to COVID, all dining was outside. From the moment we walked up until we left, it was an experience to remember and to repeat. The entire staff and the owner we incredibly friendly. The food was fantastic and the fried Oreo dessert was definitely a great finisher. If you are passing through and need a fill up, be sure to visit Wimpy's. You will enjoy the atmosphere and the food!
