Love the sausage and macaroni. I eat here often. The sweet and spicy bbq is my favorite

We ordered a full rack of ribs and sausage. The ribs tasted like it was made with liquid smoke because there was bitterness and toughness to the meat. It was kind of disappointing. My mother and sister hated it so much so I ate it all by myself. I was hungry so I ate it because i paid $40+. The service was impeccable and everything was clean though.

Great bbq with a great smoke taste, although the side items were less desirable. I would go back for the pulled pork.

This was the 2nd time we tried Willie Mae's. I ordered 1lb. Beef Brisket. I asked then to sliced the brisket in thin slices so we could make sandwiches. When I arrived home, the slices were very thick. Each slice had more than an inch of fat! Not sure if I would return.

The 1 star I am giving is due to the wonderful service we had. We ordered a three meat combo of pork, turkey, and brisket with beans and Mac and cheese with corn bread. We received ribs, turkey and brisket which we weren't even going to mention but our server saw it and did bring out a double portion of pork and extra cornbread. Two positives that don't rectify the rest of the food are 1) the turkey was good. Smoked but not dry and well seasoned. 2) their sweet heat bbq sauce has a nice spike of heat. Now to the rest of it:Cornbread: dry and lacking any true flavorBaked beans: felt like they had once been in a can then some sort of ingredients added.Mac and cheese: this was an over peppered scoop of glue. It obviously had been sitting in a warmer or pan for a LOONNGG time and was absolutely congealed .Ribs: my first bite wasn't bad but then I got hit with the bitter smoke taste from being over smoked or dirty smoked. They fell off the bone which in my opinion isn't great - slide off the bone with pressure is good, fall off is over cooked.Brisket: it was smoked but pretty sure finished in a pan and left there because it was over cooked and chewy.Pulled (chopped) pork: this was okay, definitely smoked but needed sauce as it was dry.Overall, we were so disappointed and to whomever said they were bbq judges must have dead taste buds.

The new Manager, Rickie is amazing. Even though he is not from around here, he has the hospitality you would expect in TN. Sander is amazing, she will make sure you have everything you need. Some of the best Smoked BBQ I have had since leaving TX.If you are looking for a home cooked meal, this is the place.

Great service, polite and quick. The brisket was so tender and tasty. My husband loved his ribs and the cornbread was like Momma's.

The best bbq brisket around. I got the brisket sandwich with potato salad and my hubby got the two meat plate with bologna and brisket with potato salad and green beans. It was all delicious! Beware of the Inferno BBQ Sauce. Ouch! Please write "INFERNO" larger on the bottle.

We were having a local shop day for Christmas and decided to enjoy lunch here between shopping. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was friendly. Portion sizes were decent but had an intense smoked flavor. We would however eat here again.
