I would have loved to review this establishment in its totally, but sadly I can only review the service and it simply was not good.My better half and I were visiting Memphis and this place seemed like a good choice. However, when we walked in, another patron told us we could sit where we wanted since there was no host/hostess available. After sitting for more than 15 mins, no one came to take our order, but took the order of another couple that came after us.What could be improved? Step up the hostess game!

This was the first restaurant I tried in Memphis, and it surprised me a lot. They were quick to take our order and also to bring it to us. I tried the wild rice bowl with marinated chicken. It was amazing. The rice was delicious and the chicken juicy and well seasoned. I also ordered one local IPA beer, the Soul & Spirits Hoochie Coochie. It was perfect!The food came with bread that was warm was very tasty.The only thing I didn't like a lot was that it was leaking from the ceiling. Besides that, the food was great!

I think the rating is accurate. This was a late night food option available and suggested by the hotel front desk person.I ordered delivery online from their website. The website pic is not a good reflection of what the boom boom shrimp looks like. The sauce was all good, but I expected something different.

This is a cool spot to get a bite to eat! I stop in before an event I was attending and they took care of our to go orders pretty quickly. I had the fried green tomatoes and fried fish. It was really good and filling. I am glad that I came across this eatery and I look forward to going back.

We had the fried green tomato BLT and it was amazing. Everything on this plate was perfection from the bacon to just the right amount of mayonnaise. The side of tater tots, that came with the dish, were fried and tasted amazing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If your looking for a restaurant in Memphis this is it!!! They aren't lying when they say their hot fudge pie is the best!

First, we tried this place since it was open late, but the food was not good at all. Also, the cleanliness of the restaurant is questionable. They have papers out, kitchen looks dirty, ice machine top was wide open, it just needs a true deep clean. Also, we waited over 45 minutes for our order and the restaurant was not busy at all. The quality of the food was missing. The gumbo was watery and missing the broth consistency. The fried fish was not fresh and the shrimp po boy was average. You had the owner trying to serve at the bar and get the food out and he was clearly overwhelmed. This was a hard no for me.

One of the best restaurants in Memphis we love it great family atmosphere My wife chose the place and it was the best decision that she made when we went to Memphis for vacation. I got to give it to her. The fool and the people were great. We are both definitely be back again. It's going to be one of my favorite spots to go eat in Memphis

Last week we ordered from here, and boy we weren't disappointed . The bowl of chili was delicious and flavorful , as was the jambalaya and chicken with dumplings. All I can say is that everything was tasty and satisfying!! So much so that we didn't mind the pricing. Kudos to the Chef's! Wonderful, tasty food!!!

If you come to this establishment bring your own food. Your time is valuable so don't waste it coming here. The food was either very salty or doesn't have any seasoning. The sausages are good. Nothing else. Took a long time to bring your food out.

Do NOT go here!!! Co-workers and I ordered lunch and I went to pick it up. Young white woman was the waitress. She walked past me three times as she was, apparently, mistreating another couple sitting at the table. I said excuse me and she turned around and said not now. As another waitress approached to assist me, she decided to talk to me. I ask her to move away from me. She then told me that she would throw the drink she was carrying on me. By then I was annoyed and told her to do it. She decided against that and said she was going to call her "people." I am a life long Memphian and told her to do what she needs to. A young white man came in the back door and she went to him. He may have been a manager so she was speaking to him. The other customer came and spoke with the manager and then the woman said you are just mad cause I'm white and pretty. I proceeded to tell her she was white but was far from pretty. She said don't be mad cause we are making America Great Again. I left and took our nasty food. My co worker had already paid on line. Chef salad with no eggs, tomato, and the wrong salad dressing all. All the food was sub par and the service was awful. Gumbo was sweet and a $7 tiny piece of pie. Stay AWAY from this place!!!! If my co-worker had not already paid for the food online I would've left. If I had not found grace in the lord I would've been at 201. Do yourself and your mental health a favor and stay away from this dump. The place deserves no stars but I had to give it one.
