Local steakhouses are always a win in my opinion. This one had a salad bar. It isn't huge but everything was fresh and will stocked. It is getting harder and harder to find these. My server came right to my table with my drink and salad plate for the bar. I ordered a 10 oz sirloin with a baked potato. The potato was perfectly cooked. I asked for my steak medium rare and that was perfect too. The steak was very salty. That was too bad because everything asks was great about it. The bathrooms were not kept up well and smelled really bad. There was some good and some bad but I come back on purpose.

20-30 years ago this place was a 5 all day. Haven't visited much recently but last visit was just mid. Some food was good, some food was not, got a raw chicken tender (one was larger than the others so that was it), and smaller salad plates and bar post-Covid, but the Ranch dressing was still solid. The smaller plate sounded like a challenge. Haha. Not as many options and the lettuce is too wet. But I made it work. Oh, the steak sandwich doesn't come with cheese. It definitely needs it.I'd come back, but not as quickly as I used to. I have to see if their grilled chicken and white sauce is as food as it used to be.

Every time I visit this nostalgic restaurant I order the 18oz ribeye medium rare. Best steak I've ever had in my life period. The inside is rustic with unfinished wood walls and a hardwood floor. They have lots of great decorations like shotguns hanging on the wall and plenty of taxidermy items throughout the restaurant. No matter what time you go they cook everything fresh to order. You can go anytime after the lunch rush if you don't particularly enjoy crowds. They will keep your sweet tea glass full and I've eaten at steak houses all over the Southeast, some way higher priced than the Western Sirloin, but even a $100 ribeye cannot even compare to Western Sirloin. They age and cook their steaks to perfection (EVEREY TIME)

A family steakhouse with good "southern" service. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and made us feel at home.We stopped for lunch on Sunday afternoon. They have good variety of items on the menu. They offer a lunch menu everyday so we ordered from it.I ordered the hamburger steak with mushroom gravy. The gravy was fine, but is was a light cream color and I was expecting it to be brown. I ordered the steak medium and was informed it would be pink. It was very pink and I would have been more comfortable with medium well. For my side I ordered the onion rings. It was a generous portion, but a little greasy.I think this is a good place to stop if you are traveling through the area.

Classic steakhouse. Good steaks, catfish, sandwiches and grilled chicken. The highlight is the white sauce, which is better than anywhere I've had not homemade.

I tried WS after seeing someone else's review...oh my! Hands down, the best steak I've ever had outside of my home. The salad bar is small but good, the steak was delicious and cooked/seasoned perfectly! Really, the only thing that takes away from the food is the service. The wait staff isn't pleasant at all (two visits with exact same service) but luckily the food makes up for it.

The atmosphere was bland. It needs more neon signs and some music to make up for the quietness. I would assume a barn-themed steakhouse would have more going on.The service was pretty bad too. There weren't many people in there and getting our drinks were a hassle.Lastly, I ordered a 6oz Sirloin and a Sweet Potato. The steak was way too salty and the potato tasted like it's been cooked in a microwave, wrapped in foil, and kept warm somehow. If you're in the mood for some good steak, go anywhere else. I would have rather went to an Arby's.

Mrs. Leah is the best server I've seen in this place!. She recommended the delmonico steak and it has turned out to be my favorite. We go at least once a month. Good staff, good food and decent prices for a family dinner.

Normally this is a favorite place of mine. You could also always get a great steak, great service & great atmosphere. NOT this time! They're under new ownership. Lots of cars in parking lot, but very few people sitting at tables. Place was pretty clean. Salad bar was good & clean. My granddaughter & I had the Delmonico & both came overcooked & tough and everything was room temperature. Very bland without any seasoning. All you could taste was a strong beef flavor. My granddaughter's baked potato was yellow. Looked like it had been in a steamer drawer all day. My sweet potato was burnt. Very pricey for the quality of the food. Our bill was $60 for 2 lousy steaks. I'd rather pay $100 & get great food. Some waitresses were nice while others were rude to us & other customers too. I won't be back here.
