The cutest ever. Great vendors with fresh bread, fruit, veggies, jams and jellies. My personal fave is the Omish donut truck. It's pretty much why everyone goes, and the donuts are the size of your face. They now offer chocolate drizzled, which is my favorite! A short walk away is Turn Table Coffee and a local bookstore. Super fun way to spend my Saturday mornings.

This farmer's market happens every Saturday under the covered car space from 7am to 4pm. It's one of the smallest ones I've been to, but it's got a good variety of fruit, produce, jams, jewelry, apparel, and crafts with very friendly vendors. A couple of them even give samples. It's a fun, family-friendly vibe and it gives you something to do in the town of Jackson that is free or cheap. Go and spend your Saturday exploring the selection, meet some local vendors, and grab a donut from the donut truck!

West TN Farmer's Market has been serving as a major farmers hub for some years now. Farmers from all over West TN come to Jackson to sell their produce and local goods. My grandmother and I came here yesterday around 12:30. To my surprise, there were still quite a lot of vendors around. Usually when my mom comes here, she will come extremely early in the morning around 6 or 7. That's about the time when vendors are usually starting to set up shop for the long haul of the morning into the early afternoon. You'd be surprised on how early people arrive. One told us she had been up since 3:30am and commuted an hour to Jackson from Dresden. That's a long day right there. I guess it is all worth it in the end when you make some good money for your crops. We ended up looking around pretty thoroughly before buying anything. My grandmother ran into her cousin who convinced us to buy from a certain vendor her cousin had a connection to. We bought some tomatoes for $2. From there we proceeded to buy some freshly made sour dough bread from a woman who had a bakery in Paris, TN, some Amish made peach salsa, sweet corn grown outside of Parsons, small potatoes, and of course peaches from Scotts Hill. These are true honest farmers who genuinely have good crops to sell. There is a huge selection of goods, and it is open rain or shine during most of the year when the weather isn't extreme.

I love our Jackson farmer's market! I grew up coming here.I really enjoy the fresh milk served in take home glass bottles; they refund you some money if you bring it back. The area is covered (carport feel) so you don't have the hot sun beating down on you or rain drenching you.I'd really encourage everyone to come down and get fresh produce from local vendors for a reasonable price!!
