The food is the closest you get to California style Mexican food. Most of the time it's fresh and delicious. We've had on rare occasions, the food is not very hot .

The food was okay, unfortunately my burrito bowl didn't have too much flavor. The portion size was nice. The guacamole I got on the side was very flavorful. The cashier was friendly.

Soo good!! As a west coaster living in TN, finding good Mexican food has been beyond difficult. 90% of the Mexican restaurants here do not serve anything I would consider Mexican food. I know there are going to be differences based on what part of Mexico or southern America they come from, but fake white cheese sauce on a quesadilla is not ok West Coast Taco Shop was like a little trip home to good, fresh Mexican food! Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. While we were there, lots of take-out orders came and went but for the most part the dining room was empty. The place was clean, art on the wall was cool, with an old southern CA vibe. Salsa bar was stocked well and everything had great flavor! We will definitely be back

We ALWAYS eat at West Coast Tacos when we feel like a good quality meal! The queso is delicious and the rolled tacos are legit. I have yet to have a bad meal when eating here and we have eaten here over 100 times. The workers are always nice and pleasant. The food comes out quick, even when it is fairly busy. We do tend to avoid lunch time just because the base is across the street and everyone goes there for lunch. Other than that, everything is great and you can't go wrong with any meal! The salsa bar is delicious too!

Burritos are massive as you'd be expecting. For only 10$ not a bad deal. Burrito lacked flavor and barley had any meat. The burrito is big only for the excessive amount of rice and beans. Finally, the carne asada fries were the worst I've ever had. Cheese wasn't melted and still had uncooked fries at the bottom. No flavor and again barely any meat. Won't be coming back.

Came in here for lunch and met a huge line full of hungry people. I ordered the shrimp fajitas that came with sauted bellpeppers, onions and shrimp with a side of beans, rice, guacamole, and corn or flour tortillas. My friend got the shrimp tacos.The favors where good, but the shrimp was over cooked. It was alright and the wait was pretty longOverall, there were lots of people here. I'll try something different off their menu next time.
