Waffle House

Happy New Year! It was after midnight when we came. We quickly got to table for 2, got menu's and waters pretty fast. It was crowded but not overly noisy and the employees worked quickly and efficiently. It didnt take long to receive our food, both orders were prepared as asked and were perfect. It was scrumptious. Definitely hit tha spot. Sadly my phone didnt eat 1st lastnight/this morning. Ya juss gotta trust me. I had 4 strips of crisp bacon but still juicy, buttered toast, eggs scrambled with cheese and of course a waffle.. reminded me of years ago.. drinking n mingling need food before going to bed, yup.. oldie but still a goodie.

Can't go wrong with this classic. Service was hopping and everyone was so nice!Post pandemic limited menu but they kept the classics!

I had physical therapy this morning. Decided to stop by n treat myself and glad I did. I know it's not the normal staffing cause it's training day, but everyone is doing a helluva job. Since this is the only business/career I've been involved with, ‍ I'm impressed. The staff is friendly n the food is coming out hot n delish. . It's been a minute since I've stopped into a Waffle House. I put it more on being lazy. Lol. We often forget about these little neighborhood gems. I highly recommend patronizing these establishments again. Job well done today people.

Waffle House has become an iconic part of the American landscape, or at least the Southeastern American landscape. These locations have been countless weary travelers, late night revellers, the working men and women, families and and everything in between.Ironically enough, for a restaurant called the Waffle House, I have never tried their waffles. I just prefer Savory over sweets. My favorite part of this restaurant is their hash browns, which offer a slew of toppings such as chili, cheese, ham, etc.I usually opt for one of their eggs breakfast or patty melt. You can't go wrong with either.There is nothing fancy about Waffle House oh, it is the stereotypical greasy spoon. But there are times in your life that you crave a greasy spoon diner and this will do quite nicely to satisfy that craving.

This morning while eating breakfast, at The Waffle House on Wolf River Boulevard (across from the Chick Fil A) with my parents, we sat at the bar breakfast area. I have NEVER, seen a restraunt this disgusting in Germantown. No one had Masks on while preparing food, also there were paper towels, napkins, etc. just spread all over the floors (as seen in the pictures). Water, was also all over the place. The Trash ( as seen in the other picture) looked as though it had not been picked up for days. As you can see egg shells on the concrete hanging out of the trash bags. This is a HUGE liability for the employees and their customers. I believe The Health Department needs to get ahold of this place, and SHUT THEM DOWN!!!!!! It will be a very long time before my parents and I go back and eat breakfast there again. Mallory

Absolutely terrible customer service. Not even acknowledged or anything for 15 minutes. All the employees where gathered drinking there coffee and gossiping knowing there are people waiting to be served. I'm from Germantown and I will never be back to this place.

Lady was mad she was working on her birthday like grow up, she was cursing a storm saying eff everyone in the building this and that. Place was super dirty , ants on the table , flies all over, plates everywhere . Just nasty.

Kindness is alive and well at the Waffle house in 1249 S. German town Pky.! I'm an old woman with some mobility issues since I drag a large oxygen tank everywhere I go; that means I am hindered but not totally disable. Yesterday afternoon around 2:30 I was headed home from an appointment when I decided as a treat to go to the Waffle House. Circumstances have made it years since I had a Waffle House omelet. Dragging my tank, I slowly made it to the door to find a young man holding it open for me to enter. He than open the second door, as he graciously welcomed me to the Waffle House. After I was seated, I discovered the young man was the cook. When he saw me coming to the door he immediately came to mt assistance. KINDNESS IN ACTION!!! Oh yes, he prepared the best Fiesta Omelet every with a side of Scatter Hash-browns.!! the entire staff here is very friendly and obviously customer service dedicated.

As a wife and mother of two beautiful children, I compensate myself for being an amazing wife and mother every weekend by not cooking at all! I am always on the hunt for restaurants worthy of my dollar bills. As a Latin who can chef it up in the kitchen my standards are pretty high when it comes to food. So this location is definitely a go to place for breakfast in my family. I give them a 4 stars because depending on who's working the place isn't the cleanest. Now I will say they are not greedy with grease and some days it's a tad bit too much. Overall, great choice and service is always pretty prompt.

I come here quite often, will never be back after the experience I just had. Eggs were not cooked; hash browns were brown and wet with grease. I would have trouble serving this in prison much less somewhere where people pay for food. Absolutely awful.
