Vuocolo's Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar

We had the chicken parmigiana, a pizza, and two Caesar salads. All of it was absolutely delicious, and I think a fair price. Our server Mike was great. All around amazing and we will be back! I loved the atmosphere, and the service was prompt and kind.

Nice little local Italian restaurant. Very friendly staff and quick to be seated, served and dinner arrival. I ordered the lasagna with a side salad and sweet tea. All were great. The salad was crisp but a little small. The lasagna was very good and came with 2 pieces and garlic bread which were good as well. All for a little under $20. I'm a quick eater so I was in and out within 30 minutes! Which I love. I do recommend the restaurant if you're in the mood for Italian.

In town to attend an event in Nashville. We stayed in Ashland City across from Walmart due to hotel rates being cheaper than in the city. We only saw fast food places at first but decided to see if there was anything else. We saw Vuocolo's and decided to stop there. It's a nice, quaint place with a family feel. There were red and white checkered tablecloths with a white paper overlay that's changed after each customer all around. It was also very clean inside. Our server was Tabatha, which we later found out was the owner's niece. She took very good care of us. We both ordered the lasagna which came with bread and a salad. I asked about the sweet tea, since I am a huge fan of brewed sweet tea. She told me it was sweet but not overly but that it was good. It was actually very good!I loved the salad! I got it with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing and it could not have been better! The lasagna was also very good but by the time we ate the salad and bread and drank that tea, we were a little full. The lasagna was a nice sized portion and we were not expecting that. I loved the sauce and meat that was throughout and hated I couldn't take what was left with me since I knew I was only staying one night. With a 6 hour drive the next day, it was useless to ask her to pack it up. One thing I will note is Tabatha asked us if we didn't like it since we didn't finish it. She said her uncle would be concerned when he saw we didn't eat it all. I totally like that they care enough to notice and inquire about such things. Definitely a place you want to stop if you want good Italian food.

Absolutely love this restaurant and the people that work there.It's sorta like Cheers with an Italian accent....but, so much better. At Vuocolo's they are going to take care of you. Like the time I was beside myself and asked for hot chocolate. There wasn't any ( I later learned), but suddenly a cup of the MOST delicious chocolate I've ever had appeared. Or, the time I was discharged after surgery and though we hadn't shared where we had come from, one of the owners (perhaps my shaved head gave it away) wouldn't let me lift a finger. This place will nourish you in so many ways. Of course the food is delicious and will remind you of a warm hug.

Me and my fiancé recently moved to the Ashland City area. We have been here before several times and every time we go in the service is extremely slow and there is nowhere to sit and wait in line properly as you're waiting to get your name on the list. Food is very mediocre. It's definitely not homemade as they advertise. Definitely do not recommend. Especially if you are very hungry.

Not only is the food out if this world but the staff are so welcoming and bend over backwards to accommodate every customer who walks in the door. No fake people either they are all gentle!!

My fiancé and I recently moved and now live about 15 minutes from this place. We came in here not expecting anything that great because it is a very small town restaurant but were pleasantly surprised. The food is actually really good, apps entrees and desserts all delicious. The servers are exceptional and always in a pleasant mood and very sociable with us and other guests. We absolutely love it here and happily recommend you give it a try!

Food is really good and the service is immaculate. Everyone is super sweet and you get that small town and restaurant feel. The inside is a cute lil mom and pop type of feel.

I will not go back. The food has zero flavor. The menu does not reflect an Italian restaurant. Spaghetti and lasagna do not make an Italian restaurant. Oh yea, pizza. Then don't even mention the trashy place as a whole. It's obvious that no one there gives a flip.

Five people in restaurant and they are overwhelmed. Food takes at least an hour and taste like it was made days before. Do not recommend. Trash!
