Voodoo Cafe and food truck

The Vietnamese coffee was a bit bland for me.The purple haze was good. Service was quick. The place has unique stuff I kinda like it.The beignets were fresh and yummy!Def give it a try

This is NOT your "cookie cutter" coffee shop. I implore you: IF YOU LOVE COFFEE, STOP BY VOODOO CAFE. Why? Two words: Coffee & Beignets.But since this is Yelp and we get way more than two words... please go there and try their Purple Haze which is a Saigon style Vietnamese coffee & ube cream cheese foam. AND IT IS PURPLE. It's delicious. And sweet. But not overly so. (You can still taste the incredible coffee!!!) The young man who made my drink was friendly, patient, kind, and funny. When he handed me my beautiful drink he said "I've seen a lot of beautiful things but this drink is the most beautiful" and he's so right! If it wasn't so delicious I might have a hard time drinking it and messing up the visual!!! The vibe inside somehow grabs the feelings I got when in New Orleans. I don't know how they did it- but it's there!! It's a small shop but it feels spacious inside. I can't wait to come back!

Love this place for coffee! The beignets are pretty good as well. I like the classic ones with powdered sugar only. My favorite coffee is the Vietnamese condensed milk iced coffee. Strong coffee and yummy condensed milk together is so delish.The service is always top notch. The people are friendly and helpful with recommendations. The decor resembles bright colors with knitted Voodoo dolls sprinkled here and there. The cafe is homey and comfortable. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is a great place to study or get work done.

Loved the coffee...easily some of the best I've had and it was the barista's suggestion. No complaints and will be back

As a former resident of Louisiana I find voodoo cafe to be as authentic as any place we ate in Louisiana. This morning we had beignets that were out of this world.I also had the chai me up and whip me, so delicious! Thank you to the staff for making this a great morning!

This place is so creative and delicious. The best combo. The baristas were very friendly and actual coffee experts. Loved my purple haze coffee and the art work. The space is cool. Loved it.

I have wanted to check the place out for a bit now. Finally my sister and I went and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere was amazing and the guy behind the register was very helpful explaining the different coffees and drinks.We both settled on the Vietnamese coffee and the cute little voodoo beignets with strawberries and whip cream.Great choice and it was so delicious.

This place is amazing ! The staff is so nice. The service was great and loved the ambiance of the local artists. The food was so good! I love beignets so I was happy to find a place that offers them with coffee of course !

There's an empty field with construction equipment on it. No food truck was present. Or maybe it was buried under 3000 tons of soil.

The space is small but very inviting. You'll only find a variety coffee and beignets, so don't go expecting to have a meal. The beignets are always really fresh and hot as they are made to order. As with any coffee shop, the drinks are overpriced and are just average at best. The servers are helpful and attentive. I would recommend this establishment to a friend.
