Nice family-owned restaurant in small town Leland, Mississippi. I did think it was slightly expensive for what we got - spaghetti and meatballs for two, both of which came with a side salad - cost $30 including our tip. Our toast wasn't super toasty, which made it a little strange, but the meatballs and sauce had good flavor. I particularly liked the flavor of the house-made salad dressing, but I thought the salad was way overdressed.I don't want our single experience to keep people from eating at a family owned place. The owner was very nice, as were the servers. I would say if you are a runner trying to prep for a race, this probably isn't the best place for you. Stick with a sandwich. If you're looking for plentiful servings or convenient handmade food, ready for you to grab and take home, you should give Vito's a try.

Had a delicious Sunday lunch today at Vito's Marketplace in Leland! YUM!!! Their vinaigrette salad dressing is outstanding and is housemade by Amy!Chilly Billy Howell and I both enjoyed sliced tomatoes with feta and vinaigrette! Simply delectable. Fried chicken, fried okra and cabbage. And the house made cornbread....?! Oh my!! So so good! This place is worth the trip to enjoy lunch or dinner. They have a full bar too.

Always satisfied by what I order and in the last year I've been coming I've probably ordered most of the menu. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Love that places like this exist around here that you can just feel that the people who work here care about what they do. Please stop by if you're in the area or even make a little trip this way if you live a ways away. It'll be worth it.

I was pretty disappointed by our experience at Vito's. I must admit, as a girl who can't have dairy, I was more than a little hesitant about eating at an unfamiliar Italian restaurant. Still, it was the night before a marathon, and my carb - loading marathon man needed something hearty before the race. Pretty much everything offered at this restaurant has dairy, which isn't too unexpected, so I ordered the grilled chicken salad with no cheese, a dish which was labeled as grilled chicken, fruit, olives, and feta. The salad was a disappointment, to say the least. The homemade dressing is delicious, no doubt, but the remainder was a sad pile of extremely overdressed soggy lettuce and approximately two olives, chopped finely. No fruit. I love a good salad, but this was not a good salad. The waitress was friendly enough, but she has no idea what dairy means. She kept suggesting items that had cheese, such as lasagne, because they had no sugar or gluten. I had a glass of house Merlot, and it was full to the top. That alone brought my rating from 2 stars to 3.

Wonderful in house made pasta and sauces! Vito even sells their house dressing which was also delicious! I tried the antipasto with family and was somewhat disappointed by the lack of cheese and olive selection. The blueberry soft cheese was the most interesting. The meats were a good selection of salami, peppered salami, and prosciutto. Olives were pre-sliced black olives and whole green olives. I had the Italian sampler which was delicious and really showcases all the wonderful pastas and raviolis at this restaurant. The sauces are definitely authentic but also very good! Some other places I've tried their homemade sauces and they weren't as good as Vito's. I also had a garlic loaf which was great for dipping in the sauces on my plate.

New restaurant with an old name. Really, really good Italian food. We had the beef lasagna, grilled chicken fettuccine and the spinach and cheese ravioli. We all shared and it was all amazing.

Delicious!! Spaghetti and meatballs was perfect. And, of course, it's hard to beat a Vito's salad! It's so nice to be back in The Delta for a few days!

They get 1 star bc of our server. My husband ordered the beef lasagna, it was cold in the middle and was made with cottage and cheddar cheese. It was 14.95.I ordered the Portobella and Pasta with Shrimp. 16.99 The sauce was Worcestershire sauce ONLY. INEDIBLE. I sent it back and got the Spinach and Cheese ravioli with cream sauce. It wasn't much better. It's not homemade. I'm surprised this place stays open, actually. My family is from northern Italy and this food was NOT authentic Italian. They should just serve pizza.

5 stars all day every day. They work hard to make the food and experience the best. I've never had a bad meal there, and have had almost everything on the menu. The patio is great and I love when they have live music.
