Viet Hoa Food Market

This is a smaller market compared the ones I usually visit in STL.We couldn't find a few things we were looking for.Overall I'd visit again.

This is a nice Asian market for all the chefs, who like to cook, they have a very nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables & nice cookware a big selection frying pans, and wolks to cook with. So stop by and go shopping .

This is an Asian market that sells exotic items and fresh seafood. We were able to get some Alaskan King Crab for a great price. Even bought some live lobsters and raw shrimp. I may return.

Nice sized Vietnamese grocery market. I've been to several in the Houston area. I wish this one had a deli line those have. They apparently had a cafe called Flame Malatang not too long ago but it's since closed. They got live frogs too (big ones). They carry some things that I can't find in other Memphis area stores like Shao Bing. The area of town is dicey. Lots of homeless looking folks walking around and police cars with lights on drive by a couple times during our visit. The doors are left wide opened which isn't good because animals can come in. We saw a dog roaming the store during our visit. An employee took him out but he just waltzed back in because the front doors are always open while we were there. The Hispanic work staff are young and move fast so watch out if you have young kids because they almost ran mine over with a dolly stacked with boxes (fyi staff - some of us Chinos understand Spanish).

Best Vietnamese market in Memphis. Maybe the only one too. It's right up there with Lion Market in San Jose.

When you drive up to Viet Hoa, it doesn't like much. But as a traveler, I have always found the unexpected comes in the plainest packages.Having moved here recently, I have to stock my pantry. Walking in, I knew this would become a regular stop. Unlike the Farmer's Market stores around Memphis, this store has a focus on Vietnamese products as well as a mix of related regions, I.e. Philippine etc.For a small looking store, it is jam packed with a wide variety of products. I found all but two products that I was looking for - Sinigang sa Calamansi and Crab fat paste, Not bad.From an accessibility perspective, it is doable, but a bit tight on my mobility scooter. So give it a try, and plan on spending some quality time perusing the aisles.

I found this place a few years ago and it's always a must-stop when I'm in Memphis. I nearly missed it this year, due to the I-40 bridge debacle, but somehow found myself there again today. What an awesome selection of stuff I haven't seen anywhere! Fresh-ish looking meats and seafoods - some still alive - and tons of ramen. You'll see I know nothing about real ramen, but I do know these instant ramens and they have more than the eye can see. Literally in every aisle. They also have, albeit it's expensive, Kit Kat's and some of imported candies I can't find anywhere else.

Stop through as we was visiting.. love that they have alot of options and their live seafood. Well worth it . They just need to be more specific about their prices.

Very large selection of produce, meats, live seafood, snacks, sauces, and Asian ingredients. However, if you're going here for common meats such as ground beef, I would think twice. I just purchased it here because it was here and convenient for time. Not money. Ground beef usually cost between $1-$3 a pound... though here, it's being sold at $5.99 a pound. It doesn't say what percentage of fat it is... nor do they specify if it's organic( to justify the price of it)

I love this place!!!' Fresh veggies at a fraction of the cost.....winning!!! Not to mention the wide selection of specialty meats. Stop by, you don't be disappointed:-)
