Victory Lane BBQ

The food looked tantalizing, rich in color, steam rising, unctuous. The smells were incredible, fresh and made my mouth water. But unfortunately, I was in a hotel and my delivery lacked utensils and equally importantly napkins. But the food kept beckoning so I decided to go all cavewoman and attacked it with my bare hands and with the helpful assistance of the hotel's washcloths (dear laundry peeps, the only thing I murdered were ribs and burnt ends). The ribs were tender, ripped easily and tasted mighty fine. The beef burnt ends were nirvana on a plate. Don't know about the beans as they don't easily convert to finger food. Pretty sure this is a five star joint if only they provided utensils.

if you are looking for some amazing Memphis BBQ I'd call them first. You won't be disappointed with anything you order. The food is absolutely deliciou. I ordered pulled chicken, beans, slaw, potato salad, & banana pudding for one of my offices, they raved over how great it was & kept asking where it came from! Highly recommend Victory Lane BBQ for your next meal!

The chicken and pork BBQ was delicious. Both had lots of smokey flavor. Perhaps the best I have tasted in years. The sides were delicious also. I tried the potato salad and slaw. Would drive some extra miles to get this BBQ.

What amazing food, and even better service! The owners went over-and-above to deliver to us when the our snowcropolis hit us! Even all 3 kids loved it - highly recommend their food plus bonus points for service!

Victory Lane = ribs were outstanding. Smoky, steamy, and falling off the bone. Lately we've been disappointed by some of the bigger names in Memphis bbq (central, corkys, rendezvous, etc) and Victory Lane you all have given me back the faith. No extra sauce needed. Just some good old fashioned competition 'que. There's no substitute for low and slow. Bravo, and I can't wait til my next trip home to get some more. Lakeland and Cordova folks: these ribs are awesome and in your neck of the woods. Do stop in and give these folks a try.

My family and I came across VLBBQ here on yelp when we were craving bbq. We got the full rack of ribs with 4 sides and lbs of chopped pork. When I say this meat was so flavorful and smelled and tasted amazing, I can't fully express how delicious it is! The sides hit the nail on the head as well. Definitely saving this place as one of my favorites!

Wow!! I've tried the pulled pork and chicken pizzas, smoked wings and salad with pulled chicken. All are amazing!!

Oh my goodness! I can not say enough about the delicious food. I have combo meal with chicken and brisket. Southern style potato salad(thus the redish color) and coke slaw. I got the order to go. The server was the same person who actually cooked the meats was wonderful and extremely helpful. Gosh does not take you to the place directly but tells you that you've reached your destination. No signage telling you where to go. The restaurant is in the clubhouse of the golf course. I took a chance and turned down in and am so happy I did. What a hidden gem

O M G!! I have never tasted BBQ that was more amazing than the food we got today from Victory Lane!! Holy Wow! The pork, brisket, and smoked sausage was seriously the best I have ever eaten. The potato salad and brownie wasn't too shabby either. Why do these people not have a restaurant???? They are hands down better than ANY bbq place I have ever eaten in. No pics because we ate it all. Seriously, THE BEST.

We were passing through Memphis on a road trip from CT to Ark and found this hidden gem. Can't say enough good things. Pulled pork sandwiches were amazing. Sausage cheese plate is a game changer. Burnt ends were the best I've ever had (coming from a self proclaimed connoisseur on the subject). all of the sides were great too. I'll run out of adjectives reviewing this place. But, best of all was the southern hospitality we received. Will go out of our way to come back on our next trip through.
