Vaughn’s Pit Stop BBQ

I have been to this BBQ eating/carryout a few times. They make good desserts, and their sandwiches are also good, but I'm not a big fan of their sauces. The best thing I've had there is the Pork Steaks, which are cooked only on certain days. Do yourself a favor and skip the ribs!

This is hands-down, the best barbecue in the area. They give generous portions, everything is fresh and delicious, great tasting sauces, and they have awesome daily specials also. It's priced very fairly. They have a wide variety of desserts available. It's definitely worth the drive to get there.

Always great! I have never had a bad meal from Vaughns. It is THE best place for BBQ in NEA. They do a great job with catering, too!

Place is completely overpriced, poor quality and quantity. Poor service and workers: ordered 2 bbq pull pork sandwiches with bbq sauce ON THE SIDE. When pointing this out before leaving the worker told me "there isn't anymore pork and would have to remake it using chicken". But FAILED to mention she had already done so with both of my sandwiches, and allowed me to pay for it. Next time tell the customer upon arrival you took an order you cannot make due to limited inventory, THAT I can understand. Selling bbq chicken sandwiches and saying it's pork? False advertising if ya ask me and definitely way more angering than running out!

Bbq was mediocre at best. I mean no toasted bun Wow. Just kinda broke apart into a mush. Sauce was pretty good with whatever you can do with that a mushy sandwich and some fries. Ranch tasted like straight mayo :/ not my style. I would honestly like to give this place a better review but that lady that works the counter/ window/ register whatever you call it. WOW what a doosier! Can we say friendly and customer service? They're not serving that up there. Sure she smiled, but the off handed snide remarks were not welcomed at all. Wish this could have been a good lunch stop but me and the boys had to go on down down the road to find some decent food and service.
