We visited tonight for the first time because my family was in town and everything was absolutely delicious. I had the salmon teriyaki that comes with hibachi veggies and I opted for fried rice instead of white along with some yum yum sauce on the side. It came out piping hot on a skillet, the presentation was appealing, the portion was hefty and the flavors were scrumptious. The restaurant itself can seat about 50-100 people so it's not very large in size but don't let that deter you from trying it out.

Walked in on a Saturday right at opening time and we were seated quickly. The menu in restaurant is a little different than what you find on here, so be aware of that. The service was friendly and quick, not much to say on it when we were one of three tables seated for lunch. I ordered the chicken hibachi, dynamite roll, and spicy tuna roll. The hibachi was above average in flavor, coming in at a decent 6/10. The sushi on the other hand didn't really feel like $21 worth of sushi. I had the same flavor experience as I would have going to pacific fusion and eating the sushi buffet. It's not to say it wasn't good, but it just didn't feel like higher quality sushi. The ambiance was quiet with the place being a little dimly lit.

I ordered my meal on DoorDash. Overall I was happy with the delivery just a little soy sauce spilled so the restaurant may want to take that into consideration that sauces may shift during deliveries. As for the quality of food it turned out as I expected, this dish is a Japanese style fried rice with added basil leaves and peppers. I was hoping for a more authentic basil fried rice but overall still flavorful and hot when it arrived. I think their portion size is comparable to the price. I did not dine into this location to give an accurate service and vibe of the restaurant. I hope to stop in one day to experience their restaurant.

I got mad at Asian Fusion awhile back. They used to have the only, and not a bad one at that, Asian buffet in Germantown. And they did away with that, so I had to drive to Collierville or Bartlett or Cordova for my biannual tribute to gluttony (you're not a real man if you don't eat at least 3 plates of food!) of buffet regret. But, Snowmageddon 2024: Fluffy Snow, Solid Ice came and everything shut down. Parking lots were treacherous, drivers were apoplectic, workers weaseled out of work (dear Huey's: you don't shut down for a week- you're a restaurant! Restaurant workers are known for their sober minded dedication to punctuality and purely service oriented fixation towards both their employers and customers, hehe). I was left without recourse. Even Firehouse Subs was closed (kind of).So I ventured into Urban Fusion, the better part of a decade later, after our no-fault divorce. The guy at the front was delightful. I ordered to-go, a pan-Asian survey of Thai, Chinese, and sushi. The sushi was deceptive: I thought I was getting a more substantial portion given the price, but it was loaded with crawfish tails so not altogether a loss. The Kung Pow chicken was good, even if it lacked the high end punch I was looking for. The Thai Dynamite (ordered as spicy as they would make it- there had been snow on the ground for 3 days in Memphis) wasn't that hot, but some heat with decent savor was worth the chance. All in all, a solid option, though East Meets West has better food (but a far more humble dining environment), and New Asia far more authentic. If you're looking for dine-in American Asian food in Germantown, this is probably your spot.

This was my first time visiting this location. I called an hour in advance to order ahead. I asked to have the food ready at 12:20. I arrived at 12:22. None of my food was ready, and I was on a time crunch. It took about 10 more minutes to get my food. Only half of my sushi had sauce on it. My soup and gyoza were good. Just a heads up, there's a mandatory 10% gratuity added to to-go orders. Their prices on their websites do not match the prices in person. The receipts were confusing because the top number said my total was $44 but the bottom said $40.

A sibling and I dined here recently, and we were quite impressed. The establishment is located within a strip mall, and the exterior looks pretty nondescript given Germantown's rather stifling vanilla signage ordinance. Be that as it may, the interior of this restaurant has character. For an appetizer we shared a version of some vegetarian sushi (Kani Naruto). It was served over vinegar sauce, and tasted deliciously refreshing. The sliced cucumbers looked like lovely works of art.I had the Kimchi Udon noodles with scallops; spice level 0 (zero) of 3. It was still plenty hot for my comfort level. Any spicier and it would have been unpleasant. I also had their wonderful miso soup.My sibling had the Penang dinner with tofu. She opted for spice level 1 of 3. Any higher and it would have been inedibly hot. The dinner came with white rice, clear soup, and a house salad (dressed with ginger sauce). The service from Jackie was well-balanced, informative, and friendly. If you prefer to eat with chopsticks, they're available in the wooden variety. I was also honored to speak with the owner, as she dropped by to check on us after we'd finished eating. This is such a hidden gem in Germantown. Solid 4.5 of 5 stars. I plan on returning again and again!

This review is strictly on the food. I ordered take out via DoorDash. The spicy basil fried rice has so much flavor with a mild hint of spice. The shrimp appetizer was so good my only complaint is that it didn't have enough shrimp. It comes with 5 big prawns. I also ordered the udon noddles which was great. If you do not want to be charged the extra 10-12% service charge you can order take out via DoorDash. Staff all seemed pretty nice and ambiance looked to be great. I will definitely be coming back. This is my new Asian fusion restaurant.

I love coming here but I haven't had an excuse in a while. Both their sushi and main courses are excellent so you can't go wrong here. Just a note, the hibachi seems to come with a sauce on the chicken even if you just get the regular chicken. My friend indicated it was a sweet sauce and that she hadn't seen it on the menu or she would've asked them to leave it off. The Kaboom Shrimp is almost identical to Bonefish Grill's version, but a much smaller portion. It was very tasty but not large enough to be something I would get as a meal like I would at Bonefish.I really wanted to like the Chicken Coconut Soup but the only part I liked was the base. I didn't like the chicken in it nor the mushrooms. I'm sad but at least I tried it. Also, the Pad Thai is pretty good but it isn't great with the tofu or the shrimp. The Big Ole Po Boy is HUGE and delicious. I enjoyed eating it by itself and with soy sauce and ginger. You can also ask for extra spicy mayo and eel sauce, which I might do next time. I did find out that one sushi roll isn't enough to fill me up so next time I'll be sure to get an appetizer or fried rice or another roll.To Try:Spicy Basil ChickenThai Dynamite ChickenFried Rice: Spicy Pineapple ChickenFried Rice: Spicy Basil ChickenNoodle: Pad Thai PorkCurry: Panang Steak (rare) or Chicken if they don't do steakCurry: Yellow ChickenSushi: Evo RollSushi: Crazy Crab RollSushi: Grizzly RollSushi: Yummy Roll ***Sushi: Dynamite RollSushi: Kabuki RollSushi: Ninja RollSushi: Dare Devil RollSushi: Spider RollSushi: Rock N RollSushi: Volcano RollSushi: Joe RollDessert: Fried Cheese CakeDessert: Ice Cream Red BeanLove:- Appetizer: Harumaki (spring rolls)- Appetizer: Kaboom Shrimp- Lemon Grass Chicken (max spicy, extra sauce, white rice)- Soup: Clear- Sushi: Big Ole Po Boy Roll (with side of spicy mayo and eel sauce)Liked:- Appetizer: Vegetable Spring Rolls (fried)- Lemon Grass Chicken (max spicy, extra sauce, fried rice)- Pad Thai: Chicken- Sushi: Daredevil Roll- Sushi: Sunrise RollOk:- Pad Thai: Shrimp- Salad: Seaweed- Side: Fried Rice- Soup: Chicken Coconut- Soup: Miso- Sushi: Fire Stone Roll- Sushi: Sweet Potato RollDislike:- Side: Salad- Pad Thai: Tofu
