Umphy's

Driving through, eclipse day, yelped a breakfast place and landed on Umphy - remarkable, outstanding and down right freaking amazing is the urban dictionary for their name. Must - cinnamon roll warm, moist, sweet and well portioned cinnamon and glaze! Chicken biscuits were good. The platter with cooked eggs was delicious and you can't beat the reasonable prices.

The food itself is good but the service is top notch. I've been there a handful of times and the lady that's always there does me right every time. Mostly get breakfast biscuits when I go and they're always on point.

Southern hospitality on a rainy is definitely the best way to bring out the sunshine . It's a rainy Friday we decided drive thru is the best option. The drive thru lady was friendly and happy to make sure our tummy's enjoy the 3 children biscuits, sausage and gravy, oh and 3 fresh cinnamon rolls. The 10 minute wait was worth it. Look if you in Jackson, TN bring your arse to Umphys for some good breakfast eating.

Had door dash delivery of two chicken biscuits and two orders of house browns. Biscuits were good and so were the hash browns. Would have been five star rating but thought portion size for hash browns was a little small.

Really enjoyed the food. I had fried chicken. They are also open for breakfast. I drive an 18 wheeler and was able to park across the street. Very friendly service.

Quick, friendly service; food was excellent and more than enough.Building and tables were clean.Owner personally thanked us for stopping in. Will definitely go back if ever in the area again.

It used to be a Mrs Winners. The name came from a few franchisers that stayed in Business after the company ended. I believe it is the only Umphy's left as the others in the Carolinas put the re-established Winners brand back up.It is the best chicken restaurant in Jackson. It is perfectly cooked! Its not over cooked like brand "P" or under cooked like Brand "K"! They also have a great breakfast too. They have fried and a not well known roasted chicken. The wings are whole wings not just separate flats and drummies. We buy Two lunch specials at (Breast, one side, and biscuit) 8.76 total (more if you get a drink). The staff is friendly. They treat you like a friend or a neighbor. The customers are friendly, and I bet you get into a friendly conversation before you leave. The owner is there often and will stop and talk to you. It is a good place to have a good lunch.

I ordered the chicken slider combo. The drive through wait was a little longer than you would like, but the lady at the window was very friendly, and she was very kind when ordering also. They had adequate staff inside, everyone seemed to be working, and in good spirits. The total was $6 and change, and it was the best value for the food I've had this year. Nice size piece of chicken on the slider, toppings were fresh.
