Umi Japanese Steakhouse

Good food! Their pink sauce isn't my favorite but it isn't horrible! Their chicken is very good but they didn't give a lot of it. The service was great and good came super fast. It was quite busy and the place was super clean.

Not the most dazzling Japanese steakhouse chain, but not bad. The sushi is a bit lackluster. The fish isn't the freshest and the flavors compared to the description can be disappointing. Not a bad pick for a night out. Good service and reasonable prices.

Out of town and hungry. This steakhouse is Fair. We went based on Reviews in Yelp. A bit disappointed.The Prices are very reasonable but the quality of the Sushi rolls are "meh". The Miso soup was good. The fried rice had minimal steak and absolutely No Veggies!!! Soy helped.They did have a Habatchi grill but we opted not to sit on that side.Next time I will do a better job of finding a spot!!!

Had this twice my last visit. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The house salad at lunch was a huge portion, and I got the basic Philly roll. At dinner had a Vegas roll and some friend rice which was also good.

The sushi is fresh and good. But the service and food have seemed to go down in quality. I eat there when I want veggies because we don't have a place here to get veggies that's not over cooked or fried. It really doesn't taste like authentic Japanese food to me though. I love the rice with Yum Yum sauce

Every time I have been here I have had a very enjoyable experience! The staff are friendly. We have always done the hibachi grill and it has always been delicious. We do the grill for the entertainment factor as well. I have never had their sushi and I cannot vouch for their sushi. One time I picked up hibachi for lunch and everything was packaged so well and included the sauces, salad, and miso soup. Even had a girls night out here one time and stayed probably a little too long at the grill and I am so appreciative of the staff that night for not giving any of us moms flack for visiting a bit. Super patient and considerate staff.

I have never eaten a bad meal at Umi's. Everything is great from the sushi (always fresh), to the hibachi. Go ahead and give them a try you'll be glad that you did!

Amazing dinner with my husband on a busy Saturday evening. We got sat within 10 minutes even though the restaurant was jammed packed. I recommend the Mango Tuna Salad for appetizer because it is always delicious with the yummy sauce!Our waiter Khan was super sweet & attentive! Give him a raise (:

We didn't receive the best service here and I'd be ok if my family and I never came here again. I wouldn't recommend this business to my enemy. Y'all waitress was nice. That's the only reason you get 2 stars.

Update. The last two visits to the grill dinner show was not up to par with past visits. We were seated both times with the same cook. He messed up our order and someone else's both times. I don't think he understood English and had no personality.The food we got did taste up to par.
